★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1The Blueberry Cardamom Sweet Bun was one of the Best things I have ever ate! I highly recommend ordering this if they have it available! I only wish I took a photo of the bottom, because as delicious as the top looks, the bottom was just as amazing, with the very rich & fresh blueberries within the sweet bun. This is a MUST order item for sure!
August 13 · NYPartyCruiseI visited Somedays Bakery twice during my visit to New York.Visit #1: Tuesday around 8:15 am, not busyStaff was very friendly and service was goodVisit #2: Friday around 9 am, not busyStaff seemed very aloof. I asked for a black sesame tahini croissant and blueberry cardamom bun. I was given a cherry danish instead of the black sesame tahini croissant. The staff exchanged the pastry but didn't offer to refund me the difference in price. The difference is only a dollar, but it doesn't feel like the best customer service.Full marks for the pastries. Black sesame tahini croissant was so good. It was the reason I came back for a second visit. However, the service could be improved.Pistachio Lattice - $8.95This was OK. The pistachio flavor wasn't strong enough for me.Black Sesame Tahini Croissant - $7.95This was amazing. I've never had a tahini frangipane and loved it. The black sesame brittle on top was fun. Would definitely recommend coming here to get this croissant.Blueberry Cardamom Sweet Bun - $7.95This is was tasty seasonal item. It was full of blueberries and the cardamom wasn't overpowering.
July 25 · Vivian AnneI was so happy to know the famous Astoria bakery opened a store in Brooklyn. They offer some best pastries in the town, it's really hard to choose what's the best from the best. Definitely try Black Sesame Tahini, Pistachio Lattice, and chocolate hazelnuts. For savory, I like prosciutto and gruyère .
May 13 · J.YThere bakery here taste so good ~ croissant 🥐 chocolate cookies 🍪 pistachio cookies . And also enjoy matcha ice cream 🍦. The staff there , she was really friendly and a great attitude, so I brought many bread more than I expected ~ She told me the popular one black sesame bread I should try , so I will go in the morning next time. Cause afternoon already sold out ~ I did dine in also take out for my friend with chocolate cookie and a croissant.
July 03 · Chelsea JDelicious and so happy they opened a location in LIC. All the savory pastries have been great. The BEC croissant and the chicken salad croissant were both so good. My favorite sweet item was the black sesame tahini pan au chocolat. Some items sell out early so it’s a better go early if there’s something specific you want.
