★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1The chef was really nice and educated us on all of the wines he handpicked from Italy. We had the gewurztraminer which had hints of lychee and was quite delicious. The staff were also very caring and the vibes were really good. Had a good time here. Made us feel at home. Come support! :)
April 26 · Nicole EumI was passing by and wanted to grab a drink, so I searched on Google Maps and came across this 5-star-rated spot. I decided to walk in without a reservation. As I was checking out the menu posted outside, a male staff member with a noticeable mole near his lips greeted me. I asked if they had happy hour, and he said yes before leading me to a table. The bar was almost empty, with only two white women seated there, and the rest of the tables were unoccupied. Yet, he placed me at a corner table right next to the liquor storage area. At first, I didn’t think much of it, but I quickly realized what was happening as staff kept walking back and forth to grab drinks from the storage. Not long after, another customer—a young white woman—walked in, and she was seated at a window-side table. I was stunned. Was I placed in the corner because I asked about happy hour? Or was it because I’m Asian? It’s hard to believe this place has a 5-star rating. Service like this is not worth any tip, let alone my time or money. If I had known I’d be treated this way, I wouldn’t have set foot in this place. Absolutely disappointing. Shame on you.
April 11 · Selina LMy wife and I had our engagement party here. Larysa and the staff were so friendly and helpful. The wine and the food spread were beautifully done. We couldn’t have asked for a better evening, and we will be coming back as often as we can now that we’re in the neighborhood. Can’t recommend this place enough!
August 08 · David KlaassenI have been meaning to come in as I walk this street quite often… what a wonderful experience! I sat alone, the server offered me a fabulous Italian wine typically sold by the bottle but I was able to enjoy a glass. The hamachi was incredible. The presentation with caviar and flowers were just the precursor for what was in store. The owner was warm and inviting and exactly what you would expect from a neighborhood Greenwich Village spot. I found my new snack spot for a small bite and glass of Italian wine.
May 07 · JEN abramsI booked a spot here last minute and it couldn’t have been a luckier find! The wine was interesting and the variety excellent. The food was delicious. But more than that, I’m grateful for the friendly and welcoming service. We kept adding people to our table and the host was so kind in accommodating us. I’ll definitely be back!
