What is Worth Choosing
When planning your visit to Stix, the menu provides a wealth of tantalizing options, especially for those new to the distinctive flavors of Uzbeki and Russian cuisine. The undisputed star of the menu, and a popular choice among regulars, is the wide selection of kebabs, often referred to as Shishkebabs. The variety is extensive, featuring everything from Lamb Kebab and Lamb Ribs Kebab to Chicken Kebab and specialty cuts like Hanger Beef Kebab and Khorovak (Veal Sweetbread) Kebab. Customers consistently rave about the quality, marinade, and grilling technique, resulting in tender, flavorful meat.
Beyond the grill, a must-try dish is the Asian Pilaf. This is the traditional Uzbek-style rice dish, steam-simmered with tender chunks of lamb and beef, carrots, onions, and chickpeas—a deeply satisfying and aromatic comfort food. For appetizers, the Uzbek Mantu (steamed dumplings) or Samsa (baked turnovers with meat) are highly recommended, as they represent the authentic Central Asian offerings of the restaurant. If you are in the mood for a hearty soup, the Russian and Slavic influences shine through with options like the classic Borscht (beet soup) or Lagman (noodle soup with meat and vegetables).
Finally, based on customer reviews, don't overlook the side dishes and salads. The French Fries, often served with a generous kick of fresh garlic and dill, are a unique and highly praised accompaniment to the kebabs. The "super fresh & tasty salads" are noted as being a perfect complement to the rich main courses. For those seeking an authentic and memorable dining experience in Queens that traverses the flavors of the Middle East, Uzbekistan, and Russia, Stix is truly a worthy choice.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I love the food at this place. They serve the best Shiskebabs & French Fries with Garlic & Kropp. And of course, their super fresh & tasty salads that I can eat every day if I had the patience to make them. Last but not least, the service is excellent. The waitresses are attentive, fast, and they don't forget anything... Plus, they go above & beyond. The decor and overall ambiance of the restaurant is very good too.
June 15 · Luis BrionesFor Father’s Day we decided to visit Stix restaurant.Amazing food and great service .I ordered pelmeni ,kebabs and so on .everything was on time and servers so attentive and knowledgeable. We will definitely be back. Thank you for this great experience.❤️❤️
June 16 · bolot kanjaevWow was I surprised by this place. Went with a girlfriend for lunch and had a great time. We got the Shurpa soup, it only had one piece of meat in it so even though it's cooked with beef & lamb, you don't get both. The fresh herbs in it were delicious! We also got the fresh homemade salad and Korean carrot salads which were both good and grew on you as you eat them, so they just get better during the meal. The steamed dumplings were good and the kabobs were so good! We eat got 3! We stayed for probably close to 2.5 hours and the restaurant didn't mind. It's a great place to meet up with an old friend and catch up on life!
March 08 · Kay BayThe food was decent — nothing special, but not bad either. Some dishes were better than others, and the flavors were just average. Service was fine, and the place was clean, but there was nothing that really stood out. Not a bad spot, but I’m not in a rush to come back.
July 19 · Tami LeviNot having tried Uzbeki good before, my family and I thought it was solid.Good: Fresh and warm bread, mellow dips, and properly cooked meat. Good-quality tea and cute teacups. Unique decoration and prompt service. Also, someone had their birthday and they gave them cake and celebrated in a special way with music and lights :)To improve: rice and salad were okay. Servers could explain better about the menu but they are super busy so it's understandable.
