I’m trying to be better about writing reviews for things in my day to day life and I need everyone to know that this footlong tuna (photo taken after eating first half) was delicious and perfect and I hope more people get to experience what I just experienced.

I thoroughly enjoyed the staff’s friendly and attentive demeanor, as well as the overall treatment I received. The food was delicious, although I must admit that I was likely just hungry. After all, I always relish my post-gym meals. I highly recommend this place!

Food is amazing. My kids go early in the morning most weekdays. I am not sure if this is normal, but this is the second time we have come at around 8:00 a.m. and seen a woman sleeping and snoring by the window, and the person working in the store did nothing about it. It is not a good look for the store.

Just left this store 5/11/2025 where I had an horrible experience. I walked in and no one was up front but all in the back of the store. I looked back into the back of store from the counter and saw a lady and male worker in the back doing something which I couldn’t tell. The lady worker came out from the back to the front with gloves on and began to take my order. I told her I wanted the Philly cheesesteak foot-long on white bread.. She went over to the bread with the same gloves that she came from the back with and beginning to fix my sandwich. I said to her can you please change those gloves. She responded back quite rudely, what! I repeated to her once again can you please change those gloves? I don’t know what you were doing back there I said. She kind of got annoyed and change the gloves. I told her to give me another bread that she did not touch with the gloves that she just changed that she had on coming from the back of the store and give a kind of halfway laugh and went to the bread rack to get another foot long white bread because she knew she was wrong coming out from the back to fix people sandwiches with the same gloves on and I called her out on it. She as she was fixing the sandwich the male employee came out from the back and she the female worker started speaking to him in African language. I knew they were talking about me and they were laughing. The male worker walked away from the lady worker making an adjuster to his head… the same gesture you make to your head with a finger when you are suggesting that someone is crazy. I spoke up then… I told them I’ve seen people at other restaurants handle trash and then try to fix people’s food with the same gloves on which is disgusting and unsanitary. I said you working with food so how am I crazy by asking you to change your gloves! That should be automatic when you come from the back to the front! She knew that she was wrong both of them knew it she just wanted to try me to see if she can get by with out changing her gloves from the start but I called out on it and she got upset..her and the male worker. She got to the register and rung up the Philly cheesesteak with double meat which came to $16 and some change. And then she said to me oh this is the sandwich of the day so you can add a chip and make it a meal which came out to be $12 and some change. I knew she was doing that cause she knew she was wrong and she saw I was upset From them mocking and trying to make fun of me asking her To change her gloves. That’s a tactic people use when they know they’re wrong. They try to make it look like you’re the one that got it wrong!! I think that’s called gaslighting! . It didn’t end there. Agreed the the discounted deal and said to her I’ll take that deal with the chips and thank you. Right after I said thank you. She replied back. I’m just trying to help you. Do you want chips or cookies …after I just told her that I will take the deal with chips… I looked at her straight in her face because I knew something was not right and I said again, chips! She went over and got the chips came back to the counter and repeat again. I’m just trying to help you if you don’t want it then then you don’t have to take it with a rude attitude. I said why are you saying this to me I already responded! …She knew she was wrong and didn’t like the fact that I called her out on it! She gave me all that I paid for and the I start to realize that these two individuals working in this store are idiots and unintelligent. Don’t I think I’ll be coming back to deal with such nonsense again!

Terrible service. Rude staff. As a paying customer I should never walk in(at unbusy)not be greeted and staff is “too busy”To acknowledge or get an order started. Will not be returning and I encourage the entire UWS to not visit this location. Poor, poor, poor!! Don’t not come, not worth spending on a sandwich.
