★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Easily one of the best omakase meals I’ve had. From the food, service, even the little details - everything was INCREDIBLE and we couldn’t recommend this place more. We only wish we lived closer to go often but will come back anytime we’re in town.I especially love how much the chef cares about the ingredients and has a unique spin on certain dishes that make it so memorable. If you’re on the fence you should definitely give it a try.
March 23 · Joanne LeWe’ve been to Sushi Amane several times — even under different chefs — and it remains one of our favorite omakase spots in the city. The fish is top quality, the small seasonal dishes are refined, and the pacing always feels just right. We love omakase in general, and Amane’s relatively fair price point makes it a place we return to again and again. Consistently satisfyiny.
May 12 · EThis is the highest quality sushi I've ever tasted in New York. Except for the first appetizer, which was not ideal, the other appetizers and sushi were much higher quality. The chef's skills are also very outstandingly. I will come to this restaurant again.
January 21 · Senji SaitoAn intimate omakase experience with only eight counter seats in a hidden basement of the restaurant. The chef was friendly and welcoming, and each dish was crafted with meticulous care and stunning presentation. I especially loved the steamed abalone, uni rice, otoro nigiri, uni nigiri, and the hand roll at the end. The course was served at a perfect pace, and the attentive service and cozy atmosphere made for a wonderful meal to celebrate a special occasion.
September 22 · Bill WangHad a great meal here on my wife’s birthday. We had three other diners in our seating so a total of only 5 diners. As their previous chef had just recently left, we were served by their new chef that had just arrived two weeks ago (obviously with extensive prior experience from Japan). Chef and staff did not disappoint and just about everything was on point.
