★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Hard to overstate how amazing our experience at Sushi Ouji was. Just as good as anything we had in Japan. When we arrived, it definitely felt like we were transported there. Some highlights were the otoro, the uni, and the salmon roe bowl, but there were zero misses. It was expensive, but not outrageous compared to other New York omakase experiences.Recommended with no hesitation!!
July 20 · Jake BymanBest omakase experience I have ever had — you MUST try. Food was amazing and all of the people there were the best. They deserve a Michelin star!!! Wow.
August 09 · Victoria LPhenomenally good meal and atmosphere. Great service by the staff, however I did give it a 4 for service as the one comment I had would be that our chef didn’t really explain most of our sushi pieces to us. There were 3 of us and often he would just put the sushi in front of us and we would eat it without knowing what cut or fish it was. This may be because we were talking between the 3 of us and socializing but it is a bit awkward to get an omakase and not know what you were eating. We did have an a la carte menu to order more pieces afterwards but it’s hard to say which piece you would want to re-order if you weren’t sure which it was you liked.Though with that being said the food was delicious and we would go back.
March 24 · Wilfred TamWe came to Sushi Ouji to celebrate my friend’s birthday, and it was an incredible experience! The service was impeccable—friendly, attentive, and made us feel so welcome. The food was absolutely spectacular. My personal favorites were the tuna and eel bites, but honestly, every dish was phenomenal. The sake pairings were a perfect complement to the meal, and the staff was knowledgeable in recommending options. For the quality of food and service, the pricing is very reasonable. If you’re looking for exceptional sushi with a warm and inviting atmosphere, Sushi Ouji is a must-visit. Highly recommend!
January 13 · Juan BYou’d appreciate their craftsmanship and attention to details. Sashimi was fresh and treated sophisticatedly - wood smoked, fresh cut, fermented. Such surprisingly new flavors in fishes I’ve had before.Beautiful selection of plates and cutlery as well! All in all great experience and HIGHLY RECOMMEND:)
