September 13 · liaI really enjoyed my milk black tea with bubbles and a milk foam cap! Choosing 25% sugar and ice made it just right — not overly sweet and not overloaded with ice, which I really appreciated. One thing to note is that they don’t offer milk black tea without bubbles, so even if you want it plain, you’ll still be charged the bubble tea price. Also, when I asked at the counter to customize the amount of bubbles, the staff pointed me to the self-service machine, but unfortunately, the machine doesn’t allow you to adjust that. It would have been nicer if the interaction felt a bit more helpful. Overall, the drink was great, but the service could use a little improvement.
April 28 · Kseniia BoroFirst visit was amazing. Second visit was horrible. The staff messed up the toppings and redid the drinks by putting correct toppings in new cups and pouring old drink into the new cups, with no ice. The milk tea drinks were bland, the mango lemonade was so sour and had 3 thick slices of lemon and was coughing from acid reflex. I couldn’t finish my oolong milk tea and left in fridge overnight and when I went to drink it next day, it tasted sour and had to throw it out. 2 out of 3 drinks went to waste. 😩
August 27 · JamieTbaar is my favorite bubble tea spot across all boroughs. I order the standard milk tea (black tea base) with boba from all bubble tea places, and Tbaar holds as my favorite. It's got a little something extra with a sweet, roasted flavor and the boba itself is solid. I usually get 50% sweetness with every drink, as their fruit tea is also nice, specifically the aloe grapefruit. Lucky to have it in Park Slope.
