My wife and I visited here while on Vacation, as a newly out trans person who has lived most her life in Florida, I was not ready for how much an affirming place such as this would mean to me, coupled with the fact that pride very literally started here, it gave me what I needed to embrace myself, and to try and better things for my queer and trans comrades in Florida, we also had a lovely conversation with the owner who gave us a tour, and bought us each a beer (the Stonewall IPA is amazing! Wish I could get some in FL), we also ordered a cocktail each from the bar, the bartender was quite knowledgeable, and encouraging. A must see for anyone passing through, and all the more important for queer folk, thank you again for the unforgettable experience while we were up there - Ezri Doyle
