Tommy's Food Truck Introduce
In a city filled with countless food trucks and carts, finding a truly great one can feel like discovering a hidden treasure. For many New Yorkers, Tommy's Food Truck is that treasure. Located on West 66th Street, this casual dining spot has built a loyal following over the years by serving up classic comfort food with a personal touch. While the world of street food can be hit or miss, Tommy's stands out as a reliable and welcoming presence, offering a simple yet satisfying menu that feels like a taste of home. It's the kind of place that knows its regulars by name and treats every customer "as if they were family," a sentiment echoed by a long-time patron.
The menu at Tommy's Food Truck is a celebration of straightforward, delicious food. It’s designed for a quick, satisfying meal that hits the spot without any fuss. While a rare, negative review mentioned a disappointing experience with the chicken over rice, describing it as "dry, cold, and bland," this seems to be an anomaly when stacked against the overwhelming positive feedback from loyal customers. The vast majority of patrons rave about the consistency and quality of the food. One reviewer, who has been coming for 15 years, enthusiastically praised everything from the "grilled Chicken Caesar wrap to the Bacon cheeseburger," noting that they have "never had a meal that wasn't short of great." This kind of long-term loyalty speaks volumes about the quality and consistency that Tommy and his team deliver day in and day out.
Beyond the food, the true heart of Tommy's Food Truck is the people. The friendly and familiar faces of Tommy and Armando create a welcoming atmosphere that distinguishes their truck from others. This personal connection is what turns a simple transaction into a memorable experience. In a city where quick and impersonal interactions are the norm, this level of personal service is a rarity and a major reason why people keep coming back. The food itself is comforting and unpretentious, made for people on the go who need a quick, delicious bite that feels homemade. The menu offers all the classics you would expect from a New York City food truck, and while the prices might be slightly higher than some competitors, the quality and the experience are what make it truly worth it.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Worst street food I've tried in 10 years.I ordered chicken over rice, and specifically asked for extra sauce. Food was dry, cold, and bland. No flavor whatsoever. Rice was old and dry. White sauce tastes like diluted mayo with no flavor. It costs more then most food carts in the area too. Never again
October 02 · EdI have been going to Tommy's food truck for the past 15 years, and I have to say that I have never had a meal that wasn't short of great!! From the grilled Chicken Caesar wrap to the Bacon cheeseburger ( On my cheat days of course;)). This food truck brings a taste of home to the streets of the West side. Tommy, and Armando treat every customer as if they were family. In a city with many food carts and trucks this is one place that's a must!!!
November 30 · Joe GrindBest breakfast sandwiches in the neighborhood. I’ve tired them all. If you’re a traditional egg and cheese kinda person, def add this spot to your rotation.
August 06 · Joe GiarratanoDelicious food and good prices. My favorite is fried chicken with French fries. Chicken is crunchy. Hamburgers are also great.
