July 19 · CRISPYKARTELThis is a local spot near me and I often crave Dominican food, so naturally this is somewhere I’ve tried dining in. My first visit, I’m barely in through the door and the tanned woman with the black hair has the nastiest spirit you can imagine. I was just taking a quick glance at the menu to determine if I’d make an order and greeted everyone but mainly spoke to the man at the register since he’s the only one who was directly addressing me and asking if I was ready to order. The entire time, this lady is nearby making comments to another lady about me supposedly ignoring and disrespecting her even though I JUST walked in and said hello to everyone. I ended up leaving to go for a different spot and said bye and thank you to everyone just to hear her comment as I’m walking out, “see she is ignoring me.” The interaction was particularly interesting because the man at the register had to come to my defense multiple times for literally existing. Months later pass and my go to spot is closed, so I come here again and guess what? The same lady is there trying to start problems for the same reason AGAIN. I made sure to say hi extra loudly and make eye contact with everyone when I had walked in to avoid this, remembering how she was last time. She continued trying to make comments and the same man from before was defending me. Even though I was hungry and really wanted food from here, I left immediately. That woman’s spirit is extremely nasty and problematic and makes me understand why that establishment is always empty.
