★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Van Dyk’s is a Ridgewood staple, selling big scoops of satisfying ice cream to sports teams and their parents for decades. The classics are all here, but so, too, are rarer entries like German chocolate crunch and blueberry pie. There’s something for everyone, every single day. No tables or chairs inside, so plan to enjoy your delights outside or (carefully) in a car.
July 05 · Andrew RussethExtra creamy and delicious home made ice shop in converted cottage. Great for locals and anyone traveling in area. Definitely worth the stop.
June 04 · z Churecently visited Van Dyk and was blown away by the incredible flavors they offer! Each scoop is a delightful experience, with unique combinations that you just can't find anywhere else. The only catch is that they only accept cash, so make sure to bring some along. Overall, a must-visit for any ice cream lover!"
June 13 · Pauline SI visited Van Dyk’s Homemade Ice Cream around 10 PM, and even at that hour, the place was buzzing with customers! Over the last 3 days, I’ve been here and tried different flavors — every single one has been amazing. The taste is rich and fresh, and you can really tell it’s homemade. The shop itself is small and tucked away inside the town, not on a busy downtown street, but don’t let that fool you — it’s incredibly popular. I was honestly shocked at how busy it was, even late at night! The staff are friendly, helpful, and quick despite the rush.If you’re in the area and love ice cream, this place is an absolute must-visit. Hidden gem with big flavors! 🍦💯. My frnd whats appp whats app 😂😂😂
August 12 · Rajesh SharmaI took my family there to try these homemade ice creams, and, unfortunately, the experience was bad.Five young girls were attending, and just one of them had a smile on her face, the other ones looked like they were mad at life. They were minding their own businesses, and there was no "how can I help you?" Or "may I recommend you...", even knowing that we were there for the first time (we told them). The ice creams weren't the great thing. There are better places to get a really good ice cream and with better customer service.
