---Very Fresh Noodles operates with a simple yet highly effective service model that prioritizes speed and convenience without sacrificing quality. Their services are tailored to meet the needs of a fast-paced urban crowd while still offering a great dining experience. Here is a breakdown of what they provide:
Dine-in and Onsite Services: The restaurant offers a casual and trendy dining environment for those who wish to eat on-site. The open-kitchen concept allows guests to watch the fascinating process of the noodles being made by hand, which is a major highlight. This engaging "culinary theater" enhances the meal from start to finish. There's limited seating, often at a counter or shared tables within the market, which contributes to the casual and fast-paced vibe.
Delivery and Takeout: For customers who prefer to enjoy their meal elsewhere, Very Fresh Noodles provides both takeout and delivery options. This service allows you to savor their delicious noodles and other offerings from the comfort of your home, office, or any location you choose. The efficiency of their service means your order is ready quickly for pickup or delivery.
Diverse Beverage Menu: Beyond the food, the restaurant offers an extensive list of drinks. This includes a variety of bubble teas like Black Milk Bubble Tea and Thai Milk Bubble Tea, as well as refreshing lemonades, sodas, and energy drinks. They also have an impressive selection of beer on tap, bottled beer, and unique beer alternatives like hard kombucha, providing a great pairing for their spicy dishes.
Payment Flexibility: They accept a wide range of payment methods, including credit cards, debit cards, and NFC mobile payments, making transactions quick and seamless for customers on the go.
What makes Very Fresh Noodles a true standout is its unique blend of traditional craftsmanship and modern convenience. These features are what make it a beloved spot for both locals and tourists alike.
Hand-Pulled Noodles: This is the most significant highlight. The noodles are made fresh to order right in front of the customers. This not only guarantees an incredibly fresh and chewy texture but also provides a captivating spectacle. The skill and artistry of the chefs in hand-pulling the noodles are a true draw and a key part of the overall experience.
Bold and Authentic Flavors: The restaurant specializes in "tingly and spicy" flavors, which are characteristic of some regional Chinese cuisines. Dishes like the Tingly & Spicy Cumin Lamb and Very Spicy Pork Dan Dan Mian are packed with complex, layered flavors that provide a unique "mala" (numbing and spicy) kick. These authentic flavors are a significant departure from typical American-Chinese food and are a favorite among foodies.
Vegan and Vegetarian Options: Despite its focus on meat dishes, Very Fresh Noodles has a strong commitment to catering to all diets. Their menu includes a great selection of vegan and vegetarian options, such as Spicy Vegan Noodles with mock "duck" and Very Spicy Vegan Dan Dan Mian. ★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Every time when I come to New York, it’s the first thing that I’m doing and the last thing that I’m doing on every travel. Directly from the airport to eat this amazing noodles and great other food. Service is fantastic. The manager is amazing and the team is so friendly. I can just recommend you and you will not regret it! Promise. Don’t miss the dry beef with the noodles. - it’s not dry, it’s perfect!
July 08 · Nur BThis place is a must try. Small menu, great flavours and fast execution plus you can watch them make the noodles while you wait. Can’t complain. I got the dry tingly spicy lamb and finished it so fast. Would definitely visit again.
August 25 · nupur desaiThe tingly and spicy cumin lamb is delicious!! Every time we come to New York we need to come eat here at least twice if not three times! Their noodles are so addictive! There’s something in their chili oil that just hits the spot every single time! We do also love the Tiger salad and the lemonade with basil seeds. This is our favorite counter in the Chelsea Market!
July 26 · Veronica Lopez ParagasI had a very bad experience at Very Fresh Noodles. I ordered the Spicy Pork Noodles and honestly, it was one of the worst meals I’ve had in NYC. The noodles were drowning in oil, with a thick layer sitting at the bottom of the bowl. The amount of MSG was overwhelming, leaving me thirsty and uncomfortable even after just a few bites. The spice level wasn’t flavorful — it was just harsh heat that burned without adding any real depth to the dish. The pork and vegetables were coated in grease, and everything felt heavy and unpleasant to eat. Even the wrappers and chopsticks got soaked in oil, which says a lot about how excessive it was. I couldn’t finish it — I actually had to throw most of it away, which I almost never do.If you’re sensitive to spice, salt, or oily food, I would stay far away from this dish. For me, it was a complete waste of money and a very disappointing experience.
August 28 · Gagan Preet SinghIt’s located inside Chelsea Market, so it can be a little crowded, but there was outside seating available. I got here a little after 12:30pm on a Monday, so there was a line, but it moved fast and my food also came out super quick.I got the vegan Dan Dan noodles and the tofu pudding drink. The noodles were good. On the menu it warns that the noodles are spicy but I didn’t think they were overwhelmingly so. The best part was the smashed cucumbers in them, so I definitely would maybe get an entire side of those in the future. The tofu pudding drink was kind of bland. Texturally it was interesting though!
