★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1A cute lil bakery with Asian specialties. I enjoy the fresh made dumplings although I wish it was fried all around like on their posters not just lightly fried on the bottom. Last time we went they had no sauce to go with the dumplings thankfully they were juicy so it was still good. My kid enjoyed the ramen which is not anything special to me since it's from the packet, not fresh made. You can add egg or vegetables to the ramen if you want. All the desserts here are tasty and not too sweet (except for the brownies and cookies). The boba is delicious but a little too sweet for my taste but my kid loves it. They used to have Sailor Moon and Dragon Ball soda, I hope they bring it back. I can go on about all the things I've tried here!FYI There is no soap in the bathroom, bring your own soap or ask the cashier up front for a pump of soap. Apparently people have stolen the soap. Maybe they can get the mounted soap dispenser to prevent this
August 27 · J. ElingtonSuch a cute little bakery to get a small taste of Asian and Asian inspired treats including bubble tea. They're expanding their menu to include savory items like dumplings and steamed buns (although get them before 12pm because they're usually GONE by like 3pm) and the people are polite.
February 10 · Eleanor AriasA bit of mixed emotions on the worker’s mask situation. Bought a slice of cake and a cookie. The cookies was great! and the cake was good. They have a lot more options to chose from than the other bakery’s in the neighborhood. I will be coming back to try more new thing.
October 14 · Jenme and my friend walked in so excited due to how pretty & reasonable the items were. tho, we both just got food poisoning here earlier, coming in at a decent time. it was immediate that we felt nauseous & that something was up but tried to give it the benefit of the doubt & kept trying different desserts we ordered. the tres leches is not at all authentic, being dry and hard which defeats the purpose of tres leches (being soggy), & the guava jam tasted like metal due to the fruit being unripe. the fruit tart was raw on the dough completely (like play-doh consistency) & the custard had a vaseline like consistency. again, the fruit on there was unripe (sour mango and hard strawberry for examples). the pork dumplings were ALL pink inside & raw. usually i dont mind a little pink, but it was fully pink! the drinks tasted funny & the tapioca boba was definitely not cooked right as some were hard and it just had a weird taste to it (tapioca boba does not have flavor). overall, please dont go here. i go to many chinese bakeries (as this is an asian inspired shop) and this was terrible! we both were getting nauseous on the train before throwing up as soon as we got off! never again. dont expect any different, the same woman has been working for 15 years, it should at least have gotten better. we spent $30 here! shes also have banned about 6 of my friend’s group for talking despite each paying $90 for cakes and such. so sad
November 26 · AwcusseEven though they used frozen dumplings and didn't have gyzoa sauce and substituted it was soy sauce, they still on fire. They are a bakery on the verge of serving full Korean food. Their sponge cheesecake is to die for. Keep an eye on them, they will make a name for them in the south bronx. Customer service: A++++.
