★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I ate at Zurutto 2 days ago and had a terrible experience. First, I found a cooked piece of ramen in my salmon don. There was clearly some cross-contamination going on. Second, I looked towards the open kitchen, where I saw the cook digging in his ear with his finger!!! Absolutely disgusting! This is a sanitary issue.I stopped eating and immediately asked for the check. I told the waitress about the piece of ramen in my salmon don. She said she'd make the agedashi tofu appetizer I ordered free because of the piece of ramen I found in my salmon don, which doesn't make any sense. I told her it was the salmon don that I found the piece of ramen in and she said that's why she made the agedashi tofu free. Shouldn't the salmon don be the one discounted?I'm not coming back here again and I don't recommend this place. After leaving, I saw a lot of other reviews of people finding things like hair, insects, and a piece of a glove in their food. It's a shame because the food tasted ok… until I noticed the piece of ramen and the cook with his finger in his ear.
June 28 · Rose M.The ramen and service at the restaurant were good BUT my friend got her ramen packed to go (the server packed it), got home, heated it up, and FOUND THE FINGERTIP OF A GLOVE INSIDE HER RAMEN. That is absolutely disgusting. It’s unclear whether it was in there when the ramen came out fresh at the table or it happened when they packed it to go. But she is mortified (I mean, who wouldn’t be). We have no idea how that even happens.UPDATE: The restaurant was very prompt in responding and they provided a full refund of our whole meal.
April 22 · Karina PatelI ordered delivery several times. I would say this was the best place selling ramen in Manhattan. The broth was so rich and flavorful. Everything was cheaper than I expected, and even cheaper than those I used to try in Los Angeles, CA. The don was also good as well. I haven’t eaten at the restaurant so I can’t tell about the service or atmosphere, but I would recommend it
September 21 · Ngoc Tram NguyenFelt like soup on a cold day and finally tried Zurutto, which is a place we walked by many times before I tried it today. The service was excellent, and the soup today was outstanding. I had the chicken noodle offering, which is their most popular dish on the menu. In any event, we'll definitely be back. Not only was the overall experience great, but the price was right as well!
October 26 · A RAn excellent neighborhood ramen shop that specializes in chicken broth and more. Very yummy. Love the additional touch of black sesame oil. A Casual and relaxed place. One time a cute toddler just came by to say hello 🥰. The staff is great and attentive. Pricing is excellent. Can get busy 🤩. Delicious food 👍 Came in today right after they open and got to enjoy the open modern space. Very relaxing. Service team was excellent 🤓
