★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Because the pastrmi sandwich is so overhyped, I give it 2 stars. Realistically, it is 3 stars, but the descpency between what it is and what you are told was very jarring to me.It is just an average mediocre sandwich, yet way overpriced.Very good service.
April 25 · PUMPA DOURAs a kid, I remember my folks coming to the original 2nd Avenue Deli, when the restaurant was on the lower eastside. And over the years, I’ve gone to their location in the east 30’s, howevee, when I’ve wanted to drop by, they’ve been closed for various Jewish Holidays. Today, I was very fortunate and I ordered their outstanding chicken soup with matzo balls as well as their pastrami, Turkey and roast beef!
February 01 · Arthur GlaubermanI tried their pastrami sandwich, and potato kugel. I was satisfied with both the items I ordered. The pastrami was thinly sliced, and the rye was soft and fresh. I also love the thickness of the potato kugel. It was so good and so satisfying. On top of that, the pickled cabbage and the pickles were sooo good as well. The food itself was a bit salty, however, with the pickled vegetables it just balanced out. I also like the blue and white cookie they gave me after the meal. Overall, it was a very nice experience and I will definitely come back again and try their other sandwiches!
September 27 · Bradley CGreat servicesOmg great sandwichI recommend this place 100 percent
September 03 · Lily Butterfly0924I called and asked if their sandwiches are sealed for a strict kosher diet. They said yes. Nothing is sealed at all and they were not nice either time I called and asked about it either.
