For those seeking something more substantial for breakfast or lunch, the Organic Acai Bowl provides a fresh and healthy choice. For many New Yorkers, a good cafe is a second office, a place for solo contemplation, or a spot for people-watching. Amano Cafe excels in these roles, being "popular for solo dining" and "good for working on a laptop." With ample seating and a quiet, productive energy, it provides a much-needed retreat from the city's relentless pace. This blend of excellent beverages, satisfying food, and a genuinely welcoming environment makes Amano Cafe a standout destination on West 4th Street, solidifying its reputation as a beloved local gem.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1this spot is in the most quintessential New York area and captures the beautiful and lovely vibe of the city while serving the most delicious coffee!!! on tap oatmilk draft latte is so so good. I love doing work here and people watching.
September 09 · Prerana DewanI was visiting from out of state and only needed four things: good coffee, wifi, a power outlet, and a bathroom. Three out of four isn’t bad—no bathroom. After popping in and out of a couple of other pretty busy coffee shops around Washington Square, I was glad to find Amano. It’s a nice, low-key spot with plenty of seating that gave me a great start to my first day in NYC.
April 18 · Jason EverettDelicious vanilla ginger latte in a mug with some beautiful latte art, ample outlets and seating as well as desk space, chill atmosphere with others working too, not much more you could ask for! (Besides a bathroom). Loved my time at Amano and would be back.
June 18 · Shriya KakdeYou won’t believe how amazing the croissants are here! They’re so buttery and flaky—just perfect. I also gave their vegan muffin a try, and I was really impressed; it was incredibly moist and tasty! Every time I visit, the pastry case is packed with tempting treats that all look so high-quality. Can't wait to go back!
September 05 · Caleb EdkinsGood flavor to the flat white. No drip coffee was available. Tip: if you leave a review you might get a thank you free coffee email the next day (not advertised in store or elsewhere as an incentive, thankfully). Good barista art.
