Unfortunately, I was craving an apple turnover, and I asked the clerk if it was fresh he said yes, and I bought it. It was nasty and hard. The rest is great. They have all sodas and refreshments and hot food. Otherwise, it is a great bodega

First and foremost let me just start by saying this store is SCAMMING PEOPLE . Why is a chopped cheese 12$?? On a roll!!!!! No fries! Now this i tried to give this place a chance but idk everytime i go it just gives me more of a reason to not go back. The lady at the register her energy is so low and weird . And i feel like she makes up the prices in her head . The cooks dont even follow instructions as to how u want it made i said slightly toasted and they BURNT the bread damn near . Last time i went i stated i wanted extra sour cream why did i have to tell them 3 times ? The only best part of this store is the guy who makes the hot food! I pray he gets his own restaurant and ditches this ridiculous store . Definitely will never come back here . 12$ may not seem like alot to many people but if ur from nyc u know a chopped cheese is NOT 12$ on no damn roll! Charging tourist prices is crazy . And dont say its manhattan cause theres a deli right across the street with a red sign that make’s actual good food and decent prices! Try that one out instead

Stopped by after a visit to nearby American Museum of Natural History - within walking distance. Delicious and hot sandwiches just what we needed that day! The fries were great and we also tried a cup of the chicken noodle soup, which is made from scratch in store! Absolutely delicious and prices are fair. Service was good too 👌Will definitely go this place more often!

I stopped by here for lunch after visiting the museum nearby.We ordered pilllycheese steak sandwich combo and pastrami sandwich.The combo was served with fries and can soda. The pastrami sandwich was served with chips, pickle and can soda.The portion of the food was good and the price was very reasonable.I remember it was about 22 or 23 bucks in total.Consider the fact that it is in nyc, I even thought that they gave you more food than the price, which was really nice!I hope they remain everything as now cuz I definitely will come back!

Ordered macaroni salad and potato salad. They were literally potato and mayo and macaroni and mayo. Truly awful - no seasonings, carrots, celery, anything. Coleslaw was smothered with mayo and not much else. The only reason I didn't give them a lower rating was because they refunded my money for the salads and other items were good. Just avoid the premade salads.
