The whipped feta with pickled strawberries was creamy, tangy, & the toast points perfectly crunchy; the lamb bucatini was flavorful, pasta cooked to perfection, the burrata a wonderful addition; the drunken noodles an explosion of flavor. We finished with the black forest cannoli which was absolutely incredible, the cherry flavor was rich, the Nutella & Cannoli cream perfect without being too much. The best part may have been our waiter, TJ. He was helpful & charming & made us feel welcomed. We will definitely be back! (Pictures of the entrees, we ate the app & dessert too fast for pic)
July 27 · Jessica GalterioAte outside on a lovely summer evening. The food, service and ambiance were all perfect. We started with the Kung Pao Brussel Sprouts and Rice Crusted Ahi Tuna. Both were amazing! I ordered the burger (not on the menu) and it was fantastic! My husband loved his halibut special. Wish we lived closer so we could go more often but it’s worth the drive.
August 03 · Deb MignucciWe went for the second time on a Wednesday where they have the tasting menu with wine pairings and it was exquisite but a couple of the portions were very small, especially the scallops. But we look forward to doing it again well on the next special occasion.
October 02 · Douglas D'JayThis place is amazing. Farm to table, locally sourced and always accommodated my gluten allergy. The manager Pat and owner Sal are always welcoming and chef David crushes the seasonal menu every time. The duck on the current menu is the best and Wednesday tasting menus always are a nice surprise. Outdoor dining is a vibe in the summer as well
July 04 · nicole RWe went to Bailey’s Backyard for Easter 2025 and this is my new favorite restaurant! We had a table of 7 which two of our guests were running late. The host was absolutely amazing and allowed us stay longer than the allotted time we had the table for, in order to accommodate our later guests.The restaurant itself is cozy comfy with a lovely atmosphere, and the staff (waiters, hosts, bussers etc) were so warm and welcoming.As if that wasn’t perfect already, the FOOD itself was out of this world delicious!! Wow! I am vegan and there were many items on the menu I could enjoy without any changes or substitutions. The rest of my party had no dietary restrictions and they all agreed their dishes were unbelievably tasty. The Brussels sprouts are some of the best I’ve ever tasted.If you have not been to Bailey’s Backyard in Ridgefield CT yet it is a MUST visit!!I would give it 10 stars if I could!Amanda D
