Belmont Hall Introduce
Introduction / Overview
For New Yorkers and Long Islanders attending major events or looking for a premier, high-energy sports bar experience, Belmont Hall in Elmont, NY, stands out as a unique and essential destination. Located directly at 2400 Hempstead Turnpike, this establishment is far more than a simple bar; it is the official, casual sports restaurant and bar attached to the state-of-the-art UBS Arena at Belmont Park, the proud home of the New York Islanders. Belmont Hall is specifically designed to enhance the experience of event days, whether it is for a thrilling hockey game, a major concert, or a family show.
Belmont Hall operates as a lively sports bar, distinguished by an abundance of viewing screens, creating a true stadium-side atmosphere for catching all the action. The environment is casual and trendy, aiming to accommodate a wide audience, from groups of friends gathering pre-game to locals looking for quality dining and drinks. The venue’s menu focuses on elevated "beer hall classics" and American favorites, ensuring satisfying and hearty fare to pair with their extensive beverage selection. Notably, the bar features menu items from Floral Park's beloved The Harrison restaurant, adding a layer of local culinary credibility and quality to the offerings.
A crucial point of information for New Yorkers planning a visit is that Belmont Hall is accessible directly from the outside of UBS Arena, and guests do not need a ticket to the arena events to enter. This makes it a convenient pre- or post-event meeting spot, or simply a great location for enjoying a sports bar atmosphere in Elmont. The space is large, boasting a capacity of 200 people, and is frequently utilized for casual occasions, including birthday parties, thanks to its vibrant setting and enclosed picnic area access.
While the environment is clearly focused on the excitement of game and event days, the bar maintains a commitment to quality in its beverage program, featuring a "Great beer selection" with a variety of New York State brewers represented, and a dedicated cocktail list. Though one customer noted the pricing and the taste of a specific cocktail to be disappointing, the overall reputation is built on delivering a lively atmosphere and solid sports bar fare, with customer-favorite items like the Bavarian Pretzel receiving surprisingly high praise.
Belmont Hall embraces a modern service model, which includes paying for food before it arrives—a system common in high-volume, event-day venues—and while this has caused minor confusion and occasional slowness during peak times like concerts, the facility is fundamentally geared towards providing a fast and exciting communal experience for the large crowds attending arena events. Its identity is cemented as the essential, accessible sports bar for the UBS Arena experience.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1The place was like a lively sports bar. Many screens available.Nobody really greeted etc so we were a bit confused on how to order at arrival. Ordered food, and paid before the food had arrived. May be an effective system, but also weird to tip before you get the food and before you know anything about the service. We were in hurry, as the game would start in 40-50 min and wanted to just grab a snack. Our waitress did not warn that the food may come late. Got our food about 15 min before game start. The food was crazily overpriced. The buffalo wings tasted ok, but the presentation was not great. Also, they missed to serve carrots and celery to it (as described in the menu). The "Blue Ice" cocktail was horrible, that did not taste much more than pure alcohol.
January 31 · Anna JooService is a bit slow before a concert but I guess that's too be kinda expected. The pretzel is SO surprisingly good!
July 03 · Tracy MarottaWe were sat immediately, waited at the table for 10 min before being greeted. Ordered 2 waters and chips & guac for $15. Guacamole was half frozen and I’d be shocked if the almost stale chips didn’t come out of a bag. I wasn’t expecting much but with such a small over priced menu, I did expect somewhat fresh food.
August 07 · Jodi JordanAARON THE BARTENDER IS AMAZING!!!!! Sooo quick handling the bar, so kind, and really funny! Made a delicious drink too 🥳 Thanks Aaron! SEVENTEEN concert was made because of you!
