This meticulous approach to preparation is what creates that unforgettable "crunch out loud" experience that customers rave about. Beyond their famous chicken, the menu is a journey through Korean cuisine, offering everything from savory bibimbap and spicy tteokbokki to innovative bites and refreshing salads, making it a go-to spot for those seeking a flavorful and satisfying meal.

What is worth choosing
In a city saturated with dining options, Bonchon Willoughby St stands out for its unique blend of culinary excellence, casual atmosphere, and unwavering consistency. For anyone in New York, and especially Brooklyn, this spot is worth choosing for several key reasons. The most compelling, of course, is the food itself. The double-frying process isn’t just a gimmick; it’s a commitment to a truly superior texture that delivers a satisfying crunch with every bite, a quality that is often hard to find. The hand-brushed sauces, particularly the beloved Soy Garlic, provide a deep, savory flavor that doesn’t overwhelm the chicken's natural taste. This meticulous attention to detail is something that customers consistently praise, noting that the flavor and crispiness remain top-notch.
Beyond the chicken, the menu offers a culinary journey through Korean and Asian fusion dishes. Whether you're in the mood for the hearty and comforting Bulgogi Fried Rice or want to try something new like the cheesy and savory MoPo Corndog, there is a wide range of options to explore. The existence of lunch specials and party bundles also highlights its value and practicality, making it a smart choice for solo diners and large groups alike. Furthermore, the convenience of the location, coupled with versatile service options like dine-in, delivery, and takeout, means that a delicious meal from Bonchon is always within reach. The fact that the establishment is praised for being "significantly better" than other locations speaks to the quality and consistency of this particular Brooklyn branch. Despite some minor service-related feedback, the overwhelming consensus from local patrons is that the food quality is exceptional, making Bonchon a must-visit for anyone with a craving for authentic, high-quality Korean fried chicken and Asian comfort food.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Initially I thought they were only located in the Queens Terminal Mall. That’s where I first heard of them. Anyways. I got my usual Bulgogi fried rice and a side of 8 piece chicken in the Soy Garlic flavor. It was amazing like always. It’s quite affordable in my opinion. The service however is meh. I had to yell to get their attention…. I don’t like that. Besides that I will always love Bonchon
August 03 · Zei !This Bonchon is significantly better than the one located at Queens Center Mall. Taste of the food is great overall, as the dressings they use are tasty. I ordered bulgogi fries with no scallions, and they were amazing. We also ordered Korean Tacos, and they tasted amazing as well. Curious thing about both things is that they could've been better if they added just a little more meat in it, as for the Korean tacos, you were able to feel more the veggies than anything else. To try something new, we also ordered a "mopo corn dog" if I'm not mistaking the name, and that was very cheesy, with a great taste. The sauce we asked for (something wasabi) was DEFINITELY not for us. I tried it and it had a nail polish-like flavor. But it was great overall. We would definitely ask for our entrees again only if we have more meat in it.
May 18 · Dweene FloresGood standard Korean fried chicken, if you want spot to enjoy the fried chicken i recommend. Easy to order not complicated menu, the drink I think it’s soju base cocktail not too strong but it’s going well with fried chicken. The staff was nice. The decoration and atmosphere is okay.
October 21 · Wit TaraNot your ordinary version of "buffalo wild wings". The wings taste REAL sweet and tangy. Some pieces I got were HUGE which kinda reveals why it might be pricey. I devoured EVERYTHING...well most of it. Love it, another good place if your day dreaming of wings.🍗I waited a bit longer than expected, 10 min but that can vary. Still worth it👍
March 06 · I Really Love Food So much especially lasagnaYes, they really do have the best wings in the city. And yes, they’re pricey. You can easily drop $150 here, even if you’re not ordering much—and that’s just for takeout. Here’s the deal: I wouldn’t recommend dining in unless you absolutely have to. The vibe inside is rushed, not cozy at all, and feels more like a diner where you don’t really want to linger. But if you’re in a pinch, it’s fine. Now, the service? Yikes. I had some questions before ordering, so I called ahead, but the lady on the phone was super unhelpful and honestly came across as rude (or maybe it was a language barrier—she barely spoke English). What surprised me most was that there was no manager on-site, and she couldn’t even confirm if one would show up that day. So basically, my questions went unanswered, and past order issues were just left hanging. Disappointing.Oh, and if you’re deciding between takeout and delivery? TAKEOUT. Just trust me on this. Delivery will probably take forever, something might get mixed up, or worse, the food will arrive soggy because of how they pack it.Bottom line: Amazing wings, but the overall experience needs work. Stick to takeout and brace yourself for a steep bill!
