Brooklyn Hungry kitchen Reviews
oxtailmacaroni and cheeseeggrollscollard greens
★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Our first visit and it won’t be our last for sure. We had the oxtail, baked Mac and greens with a guava lemonade and passion lemonade. Food was fresh and it was delicious. Definitely give them a try.
June 01 · Morie CruzWarning: A real review!I can't believe what I had last night, this place needs to be out of business with the trash they selling. The garbage is where my food landed. I got fried chicken with yams and mac cheese. The macaroni looks like plastic and taste like rotten milk and cheese. Yuck. The yams taste funky, not fresh. The only thing edible is the chicken, flavorless but salvageable after being dunked in hot sauce. Thank god I didn't wake up sick after eating a bite of that spoiled food.I trusted google maps and tried this out because I've been craving soul food and its local. The reviews have to be fake. The food is disgusting! The place must be new because they don't even have a cashier system, they take cash and cash app, who cares because I advise you save your money.
August 21 · Z AA newly opened soul food gem in Brooklyn. I recently stopped by here to grab some lunch. One word to describe it: DELICIOUS.The food was a good portion size, freshly made, and full of flavor.I ordered the oxtail eggrolls, fried Whiting fish which came with 2 sides (macaroni and cheese/collard greens) and the lastly the banana pudding. The oxtail eggrolls were stuffed with hearty pieces of oxtail and sweet plantain. The fish was seasoned well, not oily, and had a great crisp.Presentation for take out was 10/10.The owner was very welcoming and polite.
March 20 · Alexis ADelicious and good food well seasoned, the owner is friendly and done to earth. Will definitely go back.
September 20 · Deborah EEverything was amazing. Tried whiting , wings, empanadas, macaroni cabbage taste like home made thanksgiving dinner . Didn’t really love the Rasta pasta, it wasn’t bad just wasn’t my favorite. Give it time I think everything is made to order so it takes a little while but worth it. These prices are out of this world. The best prices I’ve seen for such great food in a long time. Very grateful for them opening and I’ll definitely be back
