Came here at a friend's suggestion while visiting the Met. The shop is pretty small and space is limited. The counter at the back sits four, but it gets a little cramped. Nothing much else to note about the atmosphere.Patties are made and cooked on the spot (as opposed to being pre-made). Service is friendly and the food is served quickly. Would highly recommend the cheeseburger deluxe (pictured), which goes for about $11 (regular is priced around $9). Not sure if there are bathrooms on site, however. They accept card.

UPDATE: These guys did and do make one of the best bacon cheeseburgers in the city!! Visited recently and it's just as good as I remember it.Amazing bacon cheeseburgers on the UES!! And quite frankly, one of the better burgers I've had in the whole city. It's tiny and very packed at lunch so either call your order in or arrive early or late. Your burger will taste better fresh off the grill if you can grab a seat at the counter but it also travels pretty well for takeaway. Give'em a try, you won't regret it.

Definitely a solid place to get lunch. Even though it might not seem so on the outside, the burgers taste delicious. The service is also friendly and there’s a very diverse menu for such a small restaurant, and it doesn’t take away from the quality. The one drawback is seating, but Central Park is only a few blocks away so it’s not really an issue.
