★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Café Boulud is a beloved and elegant French restaurant helmed by the renowned chef Daniel Boulud. The ambiance is refined yet welcoming, capturing the essence of classic French dining. The menu changes seasonally, and every dish I’ve tried has been exceptional. The steak prepared two ways stands out as one of the most memorable dishes I’ve ever had, and the lobster ravioli is a true highlight—expertly crafted and full of depth and flavor. For dessert, the chocolate cake with raspberry sorbet is a perfect finale, offering a beautifully balanced finish to the meal. This Michelin-starred establishment is absolutely worth a visit.
May 09 · Jimmy ShenQuite a delight! Expected a stuffy experience but blown away. Enter an exquisite oasis worthy of carrying the famed Boulud name. Very accommodating and attentive staff. Gaverick was a star of a waiter. Enjoyed every minute and flavors. Would love to revisit soon.
August 11 · Amyrose YWe opted for restaurant week at the bar. Drinks were smooth and top notch. The bread was excellent. The buratta salad was solid and definitely delicious, as was the hanger steak. I have nothing bad to say, however, I gave it 4 stars because while the food was good it didn't feel exceptional or at the level I've come to expect at renowned restaurants. That said, the lime and coconut mousse dessert and chocolate tart packed a punch with those big, bold flavors I was expecting. Dessert stole the show!
July 23 · Kaitlyn KlingensmithWe had lunch. Love the decor very classy and elegant. The service was attentive and flawless. Both deserve the 5 stars. The food in comparison is little lacking. We were told this is a French with Turkish twist type of cuisine. Waitress recommended hiramasa abricot. It is a little bit too sweet and fish was cut into tiny pieces to almost none existent. The other appetizer we ordered was beef tartare. It tasted wonderful but very chunky. For the main dishes we ordered hanger steak, very dry and tough, not recommend it, and romesco fish, which literally has no taste and the fish is only the size of a woman’s thumb. The two main dishes combined are over $100 and I truly think they all over priced. Maybe the high prices reflect the plating; sure the plating is fancy but not aesthetically pleasing. I am little disappointed. I think if anyone wants to try maybe go for dinner as the dinner menu online looks more interesting and portions are more reasonable. Last we ordered a cake desert, wonderful.
July 02 · Jenn JiangMy NY Strip was overcooked for medium-rare and had a thick tendon in the meat. Otherwise the cuisine design and taste was great. Service was excellent and attentive. They can consider putting some noise damping material to absorb loud speaking drunkards. The atmosphere was like a bar.
