Campo Bello ll Introduce
Introduction / Overview
For New Yorkers craving a taste of truly authentic Dominican and Spanish home cooking, there’s one destination that locals in Brooklyn’s Bay Ridge neighborhood have cherished for over a decade: Campo Bello II. More than just a local eatery, this spot is widely regarded as a 'Latino’s Heaven'—a place where the flavors transport you back to a Sunday dinner with a Spanish-speaking family. It’s the kind of soulful, comforting food that feels both incredibly high-quality and deeply familiar. They have successfully bridged the gap between a welcoming, sit-down experience and the modern convenience of meal delivery, making their incredible, flavor-packed dishes accessible across the New York region.
Campo Bello II is celebrated for its commitment to authenticity, serving up everything from classic breakfast staples like Tres Golpes to satisfying lunch and dinner options like slow-roasted Pernil, various Mofongo preparations, and fresh seafood. The establishment operates on a popular, visible buffet-style model for dine-in, which allows patrons to see the freshness and variety of the day's offerings. However, for the busy Brooklynite, their extensive meal delivery system ensures that this authentic experience is just a few clicks away, arriving hot and ready to enjoy at home or the office.
The entire operation focuses on creating an environment and product that is not just transactional, but genuinely welcoming. Customers consistently point to the impeccable service and attentive staff, who make every visitor feel ‘missed’ and cared for. This combination of top-tier authenticity, a warm atmosphere (for those who choose to visit), and robust delivery options firmly establishes Campo Bello II as a cornerstone of the Bay Ridge culinary landscape.
Location and Accessibility
Campo Bello II is perfectly situated in a prime location within the Bay Ridge area of Brooklyn, New York. Its precise address is 9128 5th Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11209, USA. This placement on 5th Avenue—a major thoroughfare—makes it highly accessible for neighborhood residents and visitors alike. As a long-standing institution in the community for over 10 years, it’s a well-known spot, easily reachable by various forms of New York transportation.
For local patrons, the restaurant is conveniently located near public transit options that serve the Bay Ridge and surrounding Brooklyn areas, including the R train at the 95th Street Station which is within comfortable walking distance, and several local MTA bus routes. For drivers, 5th Avenue offers direct access, though street parking can be typical of a bustling NYC neighborhood. A particularly user-friendly aspect of the physical location is the thoughtful layout: the restaurant features two separate entrances. This design choice significantly improves the flow of foot traffic, ensuring that the experience of entering, ordering (buffet-style), and exiting is smooth and not overwhelming, even during peak hours.
Crucially for the article’s focus on meal delivery, the restaurant’s Bay Ridge location is strategically positioned to efficiently service a wide radius of the Brooklyn area. This central access point allows them to maintain quick, reliable delivery times, a factor frequently praised by customers. They have been active on major delivery platforms for years, confirming that for residents in Bay Ridge, Bensonhurst, Dyker Heights, and beyond, “Too far to order from” is simply not an issue.

This is AUTHENTIC Dominican food for the soul in the middle of Bayridge! The flavor is exactly the same as my childhood with my aunt cooking for me on Sunday’s after church. Everything is full of flavor and makes you want to savor all bites. It’s buffet style food where you can see everything but here’s why this place gets 5 starsThe. Service. Is. September 14 · Mark ZavalaThe staff, food and atmosphere was perfect. The taste is so authentic being Dominican myself it felt like my mother or father made the food. Tres Golpes, Morir Soñando y Empanadas on command was what really did it. Look no further if you’re thinking of soulful and tasteful food!
July 21 · Ronni RichNice Dominican food. Great chicken soup to get over a cold.
September 24 · Israel BurnsThis was my first visit to this Spanish restaurant. Recently I've been visiting another newer place in Bay Ridge. Service was decent, although it wasn't busy at the time of my arrival on a Saturday afternoon. We ordered meals to stay but also ordered something else to take out. The restaurant was quite clean and the food was good. My only complaints are that I felt that my chicken soup should have been a bit hotter in temperature; and my avocado salad was too watery and salty.
December 18 · Fred AllusoFood was pretty good but portions are very small. The oxtail cost me $18 before tax (and tip for delivery). All I got was 4 pieces of oxtail over a plate of white rice. (The plantains in pictures are separate- I spent almost $30 for this plus plantain and a small coffee )
