★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1My neighborhood go to bar! Definitely order the casa margarita. On hot days I order their frozen strawberry daiquiri.Food is made to share. I always order the mushrooms, oysters, and mussels. Most of the menu is gluten free and a few solid plant based options.
July 28 · Raymond SolomonI can’t believe I found this spot before it ultimately becomes the hottest new bar/restaurant in NYC … the food here is so good, and they make excellent hugo spritzes and martinis! we had to get the casa potato, which was so addictive— and the crudo, spanish tortilla, octopus carpaccio, and presa were all fantastic! don’t skip the basque cheesecake for dessert please
April 12 · Claire BearDisappointing to say the least, for a $469 bill before tips. Most of our food was salty, drenched in sauce or overcooked. Cocktails were very pricey for the little amount of liquor (barely any) in it. Service felt a bit suffocating, like the waitress was hovering - The waitress was clearing plates really fast even though the table had ample room for more plates; every single time while everyone was still chewing on their last bite from the plate or just swallowing the last bite. Also, isn't it courtesy to wait a little bit, not while everyone is still chewing food, and ask if we're all done (not say Let me take this for you guys) before reaching over to take the plates? Clearing the table so fast felt like such rushed service. Why? More than half the restaurant was empty. Do they not have enough plates? Service felt pitchy and like a store sale, too. We ordered Kumamoto oysters for our first platter and second one we asked for Hog Island (most of this type is from the West coast like Kumamotos even though menu didn't label them as West coast oysters) but the waitress said they didn't have them and asked us to try the "East Coast" (no name of which type on menu). We said we'll have another platter of Kumamotos, and she said I really like East Coast ones, they're the same as those you got, give it a try. I had to bite my tongue (literally) from saying "They are NOT the same!" Anyone who likes oysters know East and West coast oysters are not the same; there's a reason why people prefer one coast over the other. Obviously, our table prefer West Coast, and if she was an attentive waitress rather than trying to be like a salesperson to sell ad ons (tried to sell one of the "flavor" for the cheesecake) or more items for a bigger sale (check), she wouldn't have mentioned the East Coast oysters. Certainly not an attentive waitress because several times cocktails came to the tables with the glass bottoms wet causing the table to be wet. Why weren't glasses wiped dry before setting down on our table? The table was so drenched at one point I had to wipe it down and ask for more napkins. When she was clearing plates, she should have seen the table really wet and came back to wipe it down! The place has so much potential.
May 11 · Elaine - 'Elle' W.Great service. Outdoor seating is on one of the best corners of NYC! Really good drinks and delicious Spanish tapas, best mussels. Leave room for the Basque Cheesecake

An ice cold gin martini and a side of fries might be my new favorite combo-you have to check out the “happy meal” at Casa Thirteen! So many tapas to choose from and the drinks are amazing! This is such a cute spot and a night out with the girls.
