When you visit Chino Latino, deciding what to order is part of the fun. Given the unique fusion concept, it's worth exploring dishes that highlight both culinary traditions. The reviews suggest a mixed experience, with some patrons praising the food while others had a less positive visit. This highlights the nature of a restaurant with a diverse menu; some dishes may stand out more than others. A review mentioned the "Haboshi style" of cooking, describing a fun and engaging chef with nicely seasoned, good-portioned food and tender steak. This suggests that certain dishes, particularly those prepared live, might be a fantastic choice. The steak, in particular, was highlighted as tender and flavorful. On the other hand, some negative reviews point to inconsistent quality in other dishes, such as chow mein and chicken. This means that when you visit, it's wise to focus on the dishes that have received positive feedback.
Based on the available information and a positive review, a great strategy would be to explore the live-cooking aspect of the restaurant, which seems to be a highlight for some diners. Opting for a steak dish or other well-seasoned, protein-based meals might lead to a more satisfying experience. Since the restaurant is known for comfort food and small plates, sampling a few different items could also be a good way to find what you enjoy most. For those who appreciate a good show with their meal, the "Haboshi" experience is something worth choosing. While some reviews are cautionary, the fact that others have had a positive experience means there are hidden gems on the menu waiting to be discovered. It’s a place for the adventurous diner who is willing to find their own favorite, flavorful dishes within the fusion of Chinese and Latin American cuisine. To get the best out of your visit, focus on what has been praised and be open to a unique dining adventure.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1My first time dining Haboshi style. Atmosphere was nice. Drinks were nice and strong. The Chef was funny with his cooking tricks. But the food was nicely seasoned, good portion. Steak was tender. I would visit again. 7/27/24
July 28 · LUCINDA INGRAVERATruly disgusting Chinese food. Completely flavorless. Very questionable meat. The worst service I’ve ever had - absurdly slow. Two of our dishes just didn’t come out. There was meat in the vegetable soup. I literally took one bite of chow mein, and almost threw up: the noodle was saturated with water, not sauce, and it fell apart into granules in my mouth. Save your money and your stomach contents, and go to either a good Chinese restaurant or a good Latin American restaurant.
February 19 · Dave JarvisThis place was no good. Don’t go. First of all the chef only did like to tricks, he was very boring. The food was NO Good. And it was super expensive for a bad experience. I would never go back. The honest truth.
