September 28 · Esther PThis isn’t the same City Perch, I was at 2 years ago. The chicken in the Caesar salad wasn’t delicious or delivered to us, well done. It was rubbery. The buffalo wings wasn’t cooked, well done. I didn’t take anything back cause it wasn’t for me; it was for my man’s birthday (which they didn’t do anything about; even though- I made a note in the reservation). The shrimp scampi was a 5 cause it was so oily! My boyfriend loved his Mac and Cheese which was a plus. The drinks were amazing; our server was sweet but again; it’s the same restaurant. I asked another waitress (older white lady) to refill my tequila order and oh boy, oh boy; she was very much rude! They know what to do; change the menu, change the chefs, and make it more enjoyable and entertaining.

The food was excellent, the cocktails were creative and delicious, and the atmosphere was lovely. Our hostess was very kind and welcoming, and our server Allison was phenomenal—attentive, friendly, and professional.However, I am writing this review mostly about the event planning experience, which was disappointing. I initially spoke with Jason (event sales manager), who was helpful. From there, I was directed to Maria, the event coordinator. Unfortunately, communication with her was extremely difficult.I called multiple times—no answer. I left a voicemail—no response. I emailed twice and only received what seemed like an automated reply. After waiting days with no follow-up, I tried calling again and went straight to voicemail each time. I finally heard back just a few days before the event, but by then the lack of professionalism and poor communication had made the planning process unnecessarily stressful.This restaurant has great food, drinks, and staff on the service side, but if you’re planning an event here, be prepared for challenges with the coordination team.
