Clinton St. Baking Co - Dumbo Introduce
For years, Clinton St. Baking Co. has been a name synonymous with New York City’s best brunch. Hailed as a culinary institution, its Lower East Side location has long been known for its weekend lines snaking around the block, a testament to the uninhibited, unfussy comfort food it serves. Now, New Yorkers and visitors alike can get a taste of this iconic experience in a new and exciting way at their DUMBO outpost inside the bustling Time Out Market. This location brings the same celebrated dishes—including the famous pancakes—to a vibrant, communal setting, allowing more people to enjoy the deliciousness that has earned the restaurant a loyal following and a reputation for excellence.
The DUMBO location is a women-owned business that has successfully translated the charm and high-quality food of its original spot into a food-hall format. It's a place where you'll find both locals and tourists mingling, all drawn in by the promise of one of the best breakfast and brunch menus in the city. While the setting is more casual and self-service than a traditional sit-down restaurant, the food is every bit as remarkable. The menu focuses on the classic morning favorites that made the brand a star, from fluffy pancakes to savory egg dishes, all prepared with quality ingredients like cage-free eggs and poultry, and farm-fresh dairy.
A common thread among reviewers is that the food, without a doubt, lives up to the hype. The pancakes, in particular, are consistently described as "some of the best we've had in this great city," with their perfect, soft texture and the rich, indulgent maple butter that accompanies them. This is the place for those who prioritize fantastic food over a quiet, traditional dining experience. The communal atmosphere is part of the charm, offering a taste of New York's fast-paced, trendy food scene.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1You’ve probably seen a video on social media featuring the famous pancakes from this place. Clinton St. Baking enjoys huge popularity among both locals and tourists looking for trendy food experiences. It’s true—the food is good, and without a doubt, the pancakes are delicious: some of the best we’ve had in this great city. They have the perfect texture—fluffy, soft, sweet, and absolutely tasty. The maple butter drizzled on top wraps them in an extraordinary explosion of flavor. That’s why we came here—and we found exactly that: a rich, indulgent, and unforgettable dish. However, here’s what the videos don’t show. The space is shared, as it’s part of the Time Out Market. So you’ll be surrounded by noise, you’ll need to line up to place your order, and then hope to find a free table—which, in such a popular spot, can feel like an impossible task. The staff is kind, but the setup doesn’t allow for much interaction, so some of the magic and charm of dining out is lost. If you’re someone who enjoys being pampered and values comfort, this may not be the place for you. But if you’re willing to wait a while—first to order, then to find a seat—go for it. The food is fantastic and worth the effort.
July 05 · Ana Saenz🫐 Get the Blueberry Pancakes w/ Maple Butter!!! It tastes incredible, is very filling and is one of their top best sellers. You can’t beat the view! This is such a great spot for breakfast or brunch in the DUMBO area. Highly recommend!Note: If you get eggs, eat immediately. They get cold every quickly
August 19 · Brittani Glynn MageeIt was simple breakfast but it was good. And service from the 2 young ladies behind the counter was very good as well. There were 3 of us and we all enjoyed our food. Only complaint was lack of seating but that just seems to be the Time Out Market food court area overall. Get ready to throw some elbows for a seat.
August 26 · Cam ReyThe blueberry pancakes are the truth. Topped with yummy, flavorful blueberry compote, the pancakes have blueberries in them - they a fluffy, buttery and downright delicious!. That is why I came and it didn't meet my expectation, it exceeded them. It is accompanied by a caramel butter sauce.Although the location is gorgeous, the setting is unique - shared seating is throughout this Brooklyn venue. Great views. staffing were seen bussing tables and behind the counters at the various restaurants. This is not your traditional restaurant - it's more llike a food court. It was very busy with tourists. The noise level is high and some customers were not polite - I think I'm going to try out the spot in Manhattan, the next time. But the atmosphere is not a major deterrent from me going back.
July 20 · TJ WilsonThe food was good as per my companions. The staff who delivered the food to the table was kind and friendly. I still think the wait for the food is too long, and the prices are a little high. Long line of people ordering at 10am on a Saturday.
