Costco Food Court Introduce
In a city where dining out often comes with a hefty price tag, finding a place that offers incredible value without compromising on taste is a true victory. Tucked inside one of the world's most popular wholesale clubs, the Costco Food Court has long held a legendary status, and its location in Long Island City, NY, is no exception. This isn't your typical high-end culinary destination, but what it lacks in gourmet frills, it more than makes up for in efficiency, affordability, and satisfying comfort food. The Costco Food Court has become a go-to spot for a quick bite, a reliable meal after a shopping trip, or simply an excuse to enjoy a classic hot dog and soda combo that has become an institution in itself.
The appeal of the Costco Food Court is rooted in its straightforward, no-nonsense approach to food service. It’s a place designed for speed and convenience, perfect for the on-the-go New Yorker. The atmosphere is consistently casual, making it a comfortable spot for anyone, whether you're shopping with your family, meeting a group of friends, or simply grabbing a solo meal. This predictability is part of the charm; you know exactly what you’re going to get, and you know it’s going to be a steal.
While the menu is simple, the quality and portion sizes are surprisingly generous. The classic hot dog and soda combo for an astonishingly low price has been a long-standing attraction. Patrons consistently praise the hot dog for its satisfying snap and juiciness, and the unlimited soda refills that come with it. The pizza is another major draw, with giant slices that are hot, fresh, and loaded with toppings. As noted in customer reviews, the slices are generously sized, and the pepperoni and cheese options are simple but undeniably satisfying. While some patrons might miss past offerings like the deluxe pizza, the current menu still delivers on its promise of an affordable and filling meal.
Beyond the food, the efficiency of the food court is a major highlight. Despite the large crowds, especially during peak shopping hours, the lines move remarkably fast, thanks to an efficient and streamlined ordering process. This is a crucial factor for New Yorkers who value their time and appreciate a quick and smooth transaction. The food court also caters to various dining needs with **Delivery**, **Takeout**, and **Dine-in** options, providing flexibility for customers. While seating can sometimes be a bit of a challenge due to its popularity, the quick turnover of tables ensures that most people can find a spot to enjoy their meal. ★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1The dining area can be crowded, so we ended up standing by the corner tableThe calzone was larger than I expected and is perfect for two. The pizza quality has dipped a bit, I miss their deluxe piesHot dogs pair well with relish, but would like to see other condimentsThe drinks were quite watery and cold water is fairly inexpensive without the need for a Costco membership
July 31 · Andrew LamI recently stopped by the Costco Food Court in New York during a shopping visit, and it turned out to be a really enjoyable and satisfying experience. After hearing so much about Costco’s food court over the years, I finally got to try it — and it didn’t disappoint. We ordered the classic hotdog and soda combo and a couple of slices of pizza — both cheese and pepperoni. First of all, the hotdog was exactly what I expected — warm, juicy, with that perfect snap when you bite into it. Paired with a cold soft drink (included in the combo for just $1.50!), it felt like one of the best deals you can get in NYC.The pizza slices were surprisingly big, fresh out of the oven, and loaded with cheese. The crust had a good bite to it and wasn’t too greasy. The pepperoni slice had a nice balance of flavor, and the cheese slice was simple but satisfying. For the price, it’s honestly hard to beat. Each slice was under $2, which feels like a steal, especially in a city where even a basic lunch can be quite expensive. The food court itself is no-frills, clean, and efficiently run. There was a short line, but it moved quickly. Seating is limited, but we managed to find a table without much trouble. If you're a Costco member (or with someone who is), I’d absolutely recommend grabbing a quick bite here. It’s tasty, affordable, and hits the spot — especially after shopping or walking around the city.
June 15 · Zahirul QuayumPizza was good and came out quick once I ordered. However, there was a long line to order. I waited 15 minutes to get to the register, then when I did the cashier left without telling anyone. Another 5 minutes go by before her coworkers realize she's gone and someone comes to register. They were all polite and helpful even though they were down a person and it was busy. Hopefully that was a one-off or miscommunication when she left.
August 05 · Mary CooperVery crowded. There should be more service personnel! People give their receipts, there were 50 people in front of us!!! and the service was very slow!!! I understand that there are a lot of people, but the management needs to see with their own eyes how long people waited for just 45 minutes for ice cream!!!!!! This is a big loss of profit and a bad reputation for the store!
June 29 · I MThey were out of Soda and Ice cream. I tried the new combo calzone, because I miss the combo pizza. Not worth it, should have stuck with the pepperoni pizza or hot dog. Very salty and stuffing was just mush.
