What is Worth Choosing
Cusp Crepe and Espresso Bar is worth choosing for the discerning New Yorker who values both quality coffee and a specialized, fresh food menu. The primary draw remains the duality of their offerings. You get the quality of a dedicated Espresso bar paired with the culinary appeal of an authentic Creperie.
For a first-time visitor, prioritizing the crepes is highly recommended, as they are a signature feature. The Ham and cheese crepe is frequently praised by customers for being "on point" and an excellent savory option for Breakfast or brunch. Alternatively, for a sweet indulgence, the Nutella-based crepes offer a classic European dessert experience. The availability of Savory Crepe options that are designated as Gluten free is a significant benefit for customers with dietary sensitivities.
Regarding beverages, customers consistently rave about the Cappuccino and the overall Great coffee quality. Trying one of the specialty lattes, such as the Maple Latte or Nutella Latte, offers a unique twist on the classic espresso experience. The menu is diverse enough to support repeat visits, whether you are in the mood for a filling Pesto Chicken Panini for lunch or a simple, energizing Drip Coffee.
It is important for local users to note the operational challenges sometimes faced by small businesses. While the staff is praised for being super friendly and welcoming, one review did mention an occasion where service was delayed (wait 15–30 minutes because the cook had not arrived yet) and food quality was inconsistent (cook added so much black pepper). This highlights that, like many small, busy NYC establishments, Cusp’s quality is often tied to the specific staff on duty. However, the overwhelming sentiment points to the shop’s dedicated customer base who find the food delicious and the service awesome, making it a highly reliable and Trendy spot to visit when fully staffed and operational during its morning to mid-afternoon hours.
Overall, Cusp Crepe and Espresso Bar offers a necessary dose of cozy, Comfort food and high-quality espresso, making it a valuable addition to Park Slope’s vibrant culinary scene and a great choice for New Yorkers seeking a flavorful and quick meal.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Very small shop. My first visit was at 7:30 a.m. for breakfast, but the man behind the counter told me I would have to wait 15–30 minutes because the cook had not arrived yet, so I left. On my second visit at 8:00 a.m., I ordered breakfast and a cappuccino. The breakfast was overpriced—more than $8—and the cook added so much black pepper without asking if I wanted any that I had to throw away half of it. The cappuccino also did not taste good. Overall, not a good place for breakfast or coffee.
August 11 · Faryal ChaudhryThis was my first time visiting this small cute place. The food is delicious! We ordered cappuccinos and savory crepes. The ham & cheese crepe was on point.Service was awesome! The staff are super friendly and welcoming! We plan to return to try more menu items, specially the sweet crepes!
June 27 · Adriana De PitkinThis is my go to coffee shop in Park slope! The coffee is spectacular and the service is out of this world. Jay creates such a friendly environment and has the best recall memory I’ve ever seen of locals go to coffee orders. Stop by at lunch also for their paninis. Their turkey panini is delicious!
May 15 · Tina WangThis is a really cute coffee shop. The owner is so sweet and really excels in customer service, I look forward to coming here before work. The coffee is really good and priced similarly to other coffee shops in the area. I had a panini here that excelled my expectations.
