D:ICE Reviews
matcha
★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I’m honestly a little surprised this place was hyped up on instagram, but I tried two things and they weren’t that great. We got the matcha on matcha but the basque cheesecake and ice cream barely tasted like matcha at all, and the ice cream was icy.I got the peach matcha latte with black sesame foam as well, and the black sesame flavor was at least strong but the peach flavor wasn’t that strong. I wouldn’t really recommend getting them together since the black sesame overpowers the peach. The matcha honestly wasn’t that strong either, so overall I wouldn’t recommend their dessert or drinks.
July 27 · Angela MurpTo be honest, I don’t know what those two people below me are on or why they’re complaining so much. This place is excellent! The drinks are absolutely delicious and the vibe is great! As for the things that were mentioned in those reviews, the drinks were not overyhyped, they were hyped just right. Clearly they don’t know what advertising means. Anyways, as for the critter, I’m sure they got it taken cared of. Don’t be surprised, it’s NYC, clearly they’ve never been in this city before. Check out the NYC Department of Health summaries and you’ll be surprised to see what they find at “5-star” restaurants. It’s a great place, and I stand by this.
August 16 · Sergio ButronThis place is definitely overhyped. You can hardly taste the matcha in the drinks, and we saw a cockroach crawling on the wall near the straws and napkins. I would not recommend it. The pictures make the place look really nice, but the vibe just isn't there, it's underwhelming.
