★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I went with my sister and we were both blown away! As a Dominican and a picky coffee drinker, I couldn’t believe how smooth and delicious the coffee was—sourced straight from the Dominican Republic. We also had the bacon, egg & cheese and the tres golpes—both amazing! Great vibe, friendly service, and so proud to see our culture represented this beautifully. Highly recommend!
September 02 · LanaWe finally got a chance to make it out to Don Carvajal and we are so glad we did! I love supporting my people. As soon as we walked in, I knew it was going to be a good experience. Everyone looked so happy to see us and greeted us from the moment we walked in the door. We tried the Avocado Toasts (come with salad) as well as the Blueberry Pancakes. We tried the Iced Vanilla Oatmilk Latte as well as an Oat Mocha. Everything was fresh and you could just taste the love they put into each meal/cup. We will definitely be back!
August 10 · Rosa VilaWhen my gf told me to drive 40 minutes outside nyc for a Cuban sandwich and some coffee. BET?!? I don't know if the owner is a genius or nuts, this was the best damn Cuban sandwich I ever had. Forget Floridita... Havana heights is utter trash. The staff was exceptional with great recommendations. I only drink cold brew and black coffee and I' sipping a latte with my pinky up in the air. Check out this spot please. The line is out the door and we were blessed to get a table. We stuck to the sandwiches, but the Tres Golpes had my mouth watering. The presentation of the Cubano a work of art. Stacking the sandwich halves while having the pork fat drip between the bread nearly brought a tear to my eye. NYC spots be tripping about what can a classic cubano sandwich is. We coming back here for sure. Also got a bag of coffee.PS: They also having bomb ass 🍪's
June 19 · MookieJust visited this coffee shop for the first time and I’m honestly blown away! I had the iced latte and iced cappuccino—both were smooth, refreshing, and full of flavor. You can tell they take pride in their coffee. I also tried the bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich and the Cuban sandwich—wow! Both were incredibly tasty, fresh, and perfectly made. You can really taste the quality in every bite. On top of that, the staff was amazing—so friendly, welcoming, and helpful. It’s rare to find a place with great food, great drinks, and great people all in one. Can’t wait to come back!
July 26 · Jennifer TaverasSmall but nice atmosphere and friendly staff. The Americano coffee was good and I had the pancakes that were unbelievably good. My wife is Dominican and she tried the Tres Golpes which is a Spanish breakfast “ fried eggs, fried cheese, fried salami and smashed green plantains with red onions on top. She was actually impressed. The place is worth stopping and trying. We drove from Harriman Ny and it was worth the drive.
