Dragon Bing Introduce
In the ever-evolving culinary landscape of New York City, finding a spot that offers an authentic taste of a specific culture is a true delight. Dragon Bing, located on Delancey Street, is just such a place. This Asian-owned establishment has quickly become a local favorite for its masterful take on the Chinese bing—a savory, crispy pancake that serves as the perfect canvas for a variety of flavorful fillings. Far from a standard Chinese takeout spot, Dragon Bing offers a specialized, creative menu that is both authentic and innovative, providing a unique and delicious experience for anyone in the Lower East Side.
The concept of a "bing" is deeply rooted in Chinese street food tradition, and Dragon Bing brings this delicacy to New York with a fresh, modern twist. The bing itself is a star—a perfectly crispy pancake that is a testament to the kitchen's skill and dedication. As one customer aptly put it, the pancake is "authentic" and the idea to fill it with proteins and veggies is "very creative." This blend of tradition and creativity is what makes Dragon Bing stand out. It's a place where you can find classic flavors alongside exciting new combinations, all served in a casual and friendly environment.
Beyond the savory bings, Dragon Bing is also a haven for lovers of refreshing beverages, particularly bubble tea. Their drink menu features a selection of popular choices, from the classic Brown Sugar Boba Milk Tea to unique concoctions like the Passion Fruit Green Tea and Fresh Lemon & Lime Green Tea. These drinks are consistently praised for being perfectly balanced—"not too sour, not too sweet"—and are the ideal complement to the crispy, savory food. The combination of a hearty, flavorful meal and a delicious, refreshing beverage makes for a perfect dining experience, whether you're grabbing a quick lunch or a satisfying dinner.
Dragon Bing is more than just a restaurant; it’s a destination for a quick, flavorful bite. The space is set up for efficiency, offering takeout and delivery for those on the go, as well as a welcoming dine-in area. It’s also known for being a great spot for live music and a unique feature of rooftop seating, which adds to the overall trendy and enjoyable atmosphere. The restaurant also takes pride in being an inclusive and welcoming place, being a dog-friendly space and good for kids, making it a great option for a wide range of customers. ★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1The BBQ pork bing is soooo good, and lemon lime green tea is the best, not too sour, not too sweet, everything is perfect.Try it, you will not regret. (As a Taiwanese,I must say their bing pancake is authentic, but also very creative idea to put protein and veggies inside)
September 18 · 李萱Eat here at least once a week lately. Great fresh and crunchy snacks, and their teas are always refreshing. The lemon-lime is a personal favorite! They always nail the classic passion fruit green tea.
September 20 · Tristan OdumsExcellent bing sandwich, I got the BBQ pork. Made to order so it was hot and fresh. Flavors were good, just a little bit too much sauce but otherwise delicious. Broad menu of other bites and beverages. Located bottom floor of Essex food market. Enjoy!
January 23 · Connie KwokI originally had the beef bulgogi bing here and it was a great value for the quality of the food (in NY at least). The “bing” is wonderfully crunchy, layered, and buttery. Think a flatter croissant. They include a good amount of meat inside too which is always appreciated. That was $8The $6 classic bing with their chicken curry (they just say curry, I was pleasantly surprised to find chicken in it) is also a great value. They pair very well with each other. I came back because I was in the area and was definitely glad I did.
September 23 · Tony NguyenI ordered the beef “hibachi noodles” and the noodles had very little flavor. It was not good at all for $16. Definitely not worth the price. The only redeeming quality was the beef which, to my surprise, was quite well seasoned compared to the noodle.
