I absolutely loveeee okra soup and eat it all the time at my favorite restaurant in Connecticut (CT). Since I moved to Brooklyn I wanted a good place to go to so I was recommended by the African restaurant worker I go to in CT to come here. Finally made the time to go and food tasted great but portion size for the price is a joke. I believe the okra soup was 18$ with meat. As you can see from the photo, it was maybe a pot spoon amount of okra and the meat came with a bunch of oil on the top (I used two forks to show the amount/depth of food they gave me). I had high expectations just because of the recommendation but I will not be returning to get only a pot spoon of food for almost 20$. I’ll gladly wait when I have time to go back to CT or make it myself! On a positive-ish note, the pepper soup was good and good portion. The meat was hard and could have used pressure cooking. - Destiney Coward
