Eggloo Introduce
In the vibrant and culturally rich neighborhood of Chinatown, a truly unique dessert experience awaits at Eggloo. This isn't your average ice cream parlor; it's a creative dessert shop that marries traditional Hong Kong-style egg waffles with a modern twist of soft-serve ice cream and a wide array of toppings. Eggloo stands out by offering a highly customizable and visually stunning treat that is both delicious and perfect for sharing on social media. For New Yorkers seeking an escape from the ordinary and a dessert that is as fun to look at as it is to eat, Eggloo is a must-visit destination. This article will guide you through everything you need to know about this popular spot, from its prime location to its unique menu and what makes it a sweet addition to the city's culinary scene.
The concept behind Eggloo is refreshingly simple yet innovative. It takes the classic Hong Kong egg waffle, a street food staple known for its crispy exterior and soft, airy interior, and transforms it into an edible cone. This waffle is then filled with a scoop of creamy soft-serve ice cream and topped with a variety of colorful and flavorful add-ons. The result is a dessert that is not only a delight to the taste buds but also a feast for the eyes. The customizable nature of the experience—from choosing your waffle flavor to selecting your ice cream and toppings—ensures that every creation is a personal masterpiece. This hands-on approach to dessert appeals to both adults and children, making it a perfect spot for families, friends, or a solo sweet treat.
For many in New York, a trip to Eggloo has become a fun and memorable outing. It’s the kind of place you go to for a special occasion or simply to indulge a sweet craving in a fun, new way. The atmosphere is designed to be a bright and cheerful backdrop for the colorful creations. The combination of a freshly made, warm waffle with cold, creamy soft serve provides a delightful contrast in temperature and texture. This unique offering has earned Eggloo a reputation as a destination for dessert lovers and has solidified its place as a creative and popular spot in the city's bustling dessert landscape.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1When we walked in it was empty, most likely because it was maybe 7pm. There wasn't too many options for ice cream flavors or toppings what could go wrong with the basics? I ordered a vanilla waffle cone with chocolate drizzle, pecans, and whipped cream. While it was a very beautiful presentation, the flavors of the ice cream was pretty basic. When I think of the taste of the soft serve ice cream it reminds me of the ice cream from Mr.Softee and I wasn't impressed. While good, it's basic and mostly for IG photos.
October 23 · Fox HowellThe shop has two tables and one island for indoor dining. Its relatively small. Decor is nice and modern. Menu is on a tv. The egg waffles were cooked fresh and delicious. The strawberry Ice cream was delicious as well. These deserts can run you $11+ easily depending on topics. Its a nice spot for dessert after eating out chinese/italian food around the area. Street parking only. There is a parking garage next door that charges $17 per 1/2.
April 23 · Eric RiveraAmazing!!! And the waffle tastes even better, just like heavenly taste, so delicious also try the rose one and don't take any syrups the syrups tastes so bad, honestly just avoid extra topping even if it's your favorite, it doesn't go well with the taste of ice cream and the waffle also saves you some money since each topping costs extra.
