June 11 · My Travel by R.O.The food channel always shows food mobile trucks in California ..Seattle ..ect. My wife read about this famous mobile Pupusas truck called El Olomega Pupusas on FB. Well people just letting you guys know there's great mobile food spots right here in NYC!! El Olomega is probably one of the best kept secret right in Red Hook Park. Marcos the owner running some business ......all i can say is he had the longest biggest line there. Now for the best part we ordered a "Super Pupusa" its like the size of a med pizza......guys i was looking for something new in my mouth .......n that was the best Pupusas i ever had!! We ended up spending $50 for a lot of food & natural drinks made in El Salvador. Marcos thank you for making my Sunday ......your Pupusas are better then Pizza......your crowd is diverse n your food is indescribably delicious!! Was nice meeting you and your staff!! Proud to say NYC has the best of the best when you're looking for something different to taste! Hopefully we see you again b4 you close down for the season next month. Food Channel you're missing out!!!
September 16 · pure shineSuch a great food truck. Had the super papusa and it fed 3 of us. Had to add plantains because you cannot eat papusas without. Definitely recommend to anyone.
September 29 · YauqobBeen eating from this family run business for more than 35 years amd they've been selling their amazing food longer than that! I've introduced countless friends and whenever they're in town during the spring/summer months eating here is one of their first stops. Pupusas are what they're known for but everything they sell is top notch to include their drinks!!
August 31 · Wendy BishopI have something to judge against when I go to other pupusa establishments. Pork has no flavor, poor presentation and rude. When I wait for a dish it should be outstanding not bland for two items for $8. Take heed to the years past 1 star comments . No change. Lástima.
