El Sonsonateco Reviews
pupusas
★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I’m a current tourist to New Jersey and just visiting by many cities. I always check reviews of the restaurants I go to and saw this one. Good reviews and many say the “pupusas” are good here. So I decided to go. I went here recently and the food was amazing and very good. Although, something was a bit off with one of the ladies. One of them was shouting out very inappropriate words in front of the customers. On top of that, she was also doing some other “questionable” things here, again, in front of the customers. For a place that is supposed to be “family-friendly”, would be more than an understatement. Luckily, there was no children around this time, but either way, this shouldn’t be happening. Something should’ve been done, but nothing happened and the ladies behavior continued.Actions speak way louder the words. The food was amazing but I was disgusted by what I saw. I don’t think I’ll ever come back here, and I do sincerely apologize for the other ladies working there, having to deal with that.
January 16 · Nicole GomezMy old neighborhood spot … great weekend memories! I enjoyed the pupusas con queso y loroco and their tacos. I brought my brother here once from upstate NY. Good times!

October 22 · Samer AliHello, I'm traveling from Indianapolis, Indiana to New Jersey. My boyfriend, Iel, invited me to the restaurant he always went to in Sonsonate. I was happy to eat there, but I had a bad experience. When I ordered my food, it was beef soup, it had no flavor, it was water with vegetables. Then I let that go. I ordered two pupusas, and they were raw. What bad service. He was even sadder than my boyfriend. He recommended me. What a bad experience, but I think the lady did that because she was stupid. How bad that they serve you, even more annoying that when you have to pay, they charge you up to triple.
