★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I’ve been so excited to try this place. I finally went and was blown away. It’s super clean, and everyone is very friendly and helpful. The food is so delicious and fresh. The spicy Szechuan broth was delicious. The staff gave me a beautiful to-go container and a fancy leftover bag. It’s a must-try. This was such a fun and delightful dining experience.
August 23 · Kathryn RossiI’m so so so excited that there is a dry pot / hot pot place in the area!!! The gentrification of dry pot with Mala Project is too real - this restaurant supposedly has tons of locations in China. It’s priced at $17.99 a pound ($3.99 per 100 grams) and you get to pick whatever you want into a bowl and then chose your broth, and they cook it for you. I’m very pleasantly surprised at the diversity of the offerings - many kinds of beef, chicken, fish, shrimp, tripe, chicken feet, quail egg, 3 kinds of mushrooms, veggies, tofu, and stuff I wouldn’t even normally get but the options are amazing.I got a dry broth less option this time, with mild spice I was able to chose. It was delicious and they ask you if you want white rice or not. It was so so so good, and mine weighed just about a pound. I appreciate that they take off the weight of the basket when weighing. I didn’t love the ice pudding - it was a bit too sweet for me but good for cooling down spice, generally speaking. There’s plenty of seating and it’s very comfortable and bright and spacious. I love that they have the tissue packets just like in Asia. The service was also really good, the staff is super helpful and kind and walks you through the process and answers any questions.Next time I will definitely get the tomato broth, and try the sauce station!
August 10 · Anna DThe food here is really good! I come here and try the SICHUAN broth. It’s spicy but I can’t stop eating it! Nice meal! I also saw they offer rich tomato broth. I wanna try next time!
June 14 · Qinglin ZengLove this place! Ingredients are great and the broth is amazing! I like spicy sezchuan food so this place delivers! The bright yellow color makes for a cheerful dining experience. Brings me back to Asia.
