estiatorio Milos Hudson Yards Introduce
In the heart of New York City's newest and most dynamic neighborhood, Hudson Yards, lies a culinary gem that transports diners straight to the Mediterranean. estiatorio Milos is not just a seafood restaurant; it is a fine dining institution that has brought the pristine, authentic flavors of Greek and Mediterranean cuisine to the city. From its stunning location to its commitment to the freshest ingredients, Milos offers a dining experience that is both elegant and deeply satisfying. It has earned a reputation for excellence, with a loyal following that spans its global locations, and the Hudson Yards spot is a shining example of this.
The ethos of estiatorio Milos is simple: to serve the freshest, most pristine seafood available. The restaurant's founder, Costas Spiliadis, pioneered the concept of high-end Greek dining in North America, and this location continues that legacy. Guests are invited to select their own fish from a stunning display at the in-house fish market, a testament to the restaurant’s transparency and commitment to quality. The menu is built on simplicity, with ingredients often flown in from the Mediterranean, ensuring an authentic taste that is hard to find elsewhere. As one satisfied diner put it, "Milos... never disappoints."
The atmosphere at estiatorio Milos is a key part of its appeal. The space is beautiful and upscale, yet it manages to feel cozy and even romantic. With panoramic glass windows, diners are treated to "a great view" of the surrounding cityscape and the iconic "honeycomb tower," the Vessel. This stunning backdrop, especially when illuminated at night, creates a memorable setting for any occasion. The restaurant is spacious and well-designed, with a separate wine bar and terrace, making it suitable for a variety of gatherings, from an intimate dinner for two to a large group celebration. It's a place that is popular with groups, families, and solo diners alike, drawing in a crowd that includes both locals and tourists seeking a truly special meal.
The fine dining nature of Milos means it's a place for special occasions, and the price point reflects the quality of the food and the exceptional experience. While a few reviews suggest that the prices can be steep, many customers feel that the quality of the food and the ambiance justify the cost, especially for a celebratory meal. The restaurant is a true "ambassador for Greek dining," and its reputation as one of the best Greek restaurants "around" is well-deserved.
estiatorio Milos is located on the Fifth Floor of 20 Hudson Yards, New York, NY 10001, USA. This places it in the center of one of Manhattan's most modern and bustling neighborhoods. Situated above street level, the restaurant offers unique and picturesque views, making it a destination in itself.
Hudson Yards is a well-connected and easily accessible area. For those using public transportation, the 7 subway line has a station directly at Hudson Yards. ★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I came here for a birthday lunch during restaurant week. The glass window overlooking the honeycomb tower gave us a great view. The food was good, but I don't know if I would have gone back to pay full price if it wasn't restaurant week. I got the “fish of the day” selection, and bones were in it. I'm not a big fan of that. The zucchini chips are the highlight of our lunch, but expect to pay $39 for fried zucchini. The octopus was good as well; it was tender and not chewy. The waiter was polite but had no smile, and it felt cold. I had better service in other restaurants. I would give this experience 4/5 stars. Food and service were good but not great.
August 26 · Monica PuspasariMilos..never disappoints. Love Milos..one of the best Greek restaurants around. Kept their excellence in all their locations. We had lunch at Hudson Yards and the place is simply beautiful. Food was excellent as usual. We had the pre fixed lunch menu which gives 2 plates and a dessert. We went for Greek salad (tomatoes and feta cheese), Oysters and grilled salmon fish. All delicious.
June 24 · Tarek FarahatMy husband & I came here for our wedding anniversary and it was perfect from start to finish. The service was excellent, our waitress, Cleopatra was lovely and helpful. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was lovely. They even surprised us with a dessert for our anniversary.Highly recommend! Perfect for any celebration or just an excellent seafood dinner.
June 04 · Trevina TadrosHands down the best seafood experience in the city. Estiatorio Milos never misses. From the moment you walk in, you know you’re in for something special. The ceviche is unbelievably fresh, the char-grilled octopus is tender and flavorful, and the East Coast oysters are a must. Don’t skip the iconic zucchini tower with tzatziki at the base—crispy, creamy, and unforgettable. As for the fish, you truly can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. Every dish is perfectly prepared and plated with care. Huge shoutout to our amazing servers Theo, Kate, and Pedro for making our night even more memorable. Outstanding food and top-tier service—this is seafood at its finest.
April 20 · Khaled Atallahvibe is nice and it was a great noise level. there’s a display of raw fish that you can go to to pick some out which is cool. the waiter was really helpful with the menu and helped us order a good amount of foodthe fish part of the menu was kinda confusing and the apps were like $30-40 which is kinda a lot. i do more or less normalize by price and it was a unique experience but i don’t know if id go back.also, im a carb lover and there didn’t seem to be too many carb options but could be a personal issue😅
