May 08 · Anna HHands down best falafel and hummus I’ve tried in the city! Freshly made and so good. Menu is vegetarian with mostly vegan options.I tried the falafel hummus bowl, kibbeh, falafel donuts, and mint lemonade! Everything was super tasty, my favorite was the air fried falafel and kibbeh with hummus. Highly recommend checking this place out for fresh vegan Mediterranean food. Also Karen the owner is the friendliest and made our experience so enjoyable!
April 08 · Maggie BichonI’m vegan and always on the lookout for new spots in the city so I’m so glad I found Falafel Plant! I recently learned they’re Vegan Friendly certified, which is always a great sign, and they absolutely lived up to the hype. The menu is vegetarian and about 95% vegan, which makes it an awesome find if you’re plant-based. Everything is made fresh to order, so if you're in a rush, I recommend calling ahead or ordering online but it’s totally worth the short wait.I had the baked falafel pita sandwich, the falafel donuts (yes, falafels topped with chocolate syrup and pistachios, like if Dubai chocolate and a falafel had a delicious baby), and the hibiscus lemonade. My boyfriend tried the falafel donuts too and was pleasantly surprised. Neither of us had tried sweet falafel before but we both ended up loving it.The shop is small with no indoor seating, but there are a few tables just outside, and the vibe is perfect for a casual bite. It’s also super conveniently located right in the 59th Street Columbus Circle subway station.Karen, the owner, is incredibly nice and clearly passionate about what she’s built. There’s a huge variety of flavorful middle eastern dishes, and I’m already looking forward to coming back to try more.If you love Mediterranean food, or just good food in general, definitely check this place out!
August 01 · Raizzi SteinI had Malabi yesterday and… wow.It was so good I totally lost control and had to grab another one — no regrets. 😂I even took it with me on my flight to Vegas and ate it mid-air… and honestly, that creamy, sweet deliciousness made the whole flight way more pleasant.Light, smooth, perfectly flavored — this dessert is on another level. If you haven’t tried Malabi yet, you’re seriously missing out.Highly recommended. 10/10. Would fly with it again. 🍮✈️
June 06 · Leo VazzaThe owners are extremely friendly and genuinely interested in providing a wholesome experience. They make most of not all of their ingredients in house and have a nice variety of options, despite the restaurant’s size. Would love to return with my family next time we’re around Central Park! Plus strong vegan options make it a great all around option.
