★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Fujinoya has been my family’s top favorite Japanese spot in all of Westchester - aside from Sazan in Ardsley - boasting a delicious authentic menu, kind Japanese staff, and a cozy vibe that’s small yet inviting. The seasonal offerings are always a standout, including the sukiyaki hot pot that’s my all-time fave! 😋 highly recommended
September 25 · Jyoni Tetsurō ShulerA nice quiet Japanese restaurant. Super quick service and friendly staff. The food came out quick and it was delicious. Can’t wait to come back again and try their other menu dishes.
April 17 · c tabzA cozy local spot that is fantastic for Japanese food, especially reasonably priced sashimi and rolls! The interior is lovingly decorated from the ceiling (parasols are hanging downwards) to the screens between tables, but note that dining space is limited. We went on a weekend evening right before 7pm and there was no wait along with ample parking spots. By 8pm, there were people in the waiting area and only one parking spot. I would recommend arriving for dinner on a weekday from 5-7pm to enjoy their dinner bento boxes, which are only available for dine-in.Very friendly staff who gladly served us tonkatsu as an appetizer (off-menu) instead of a main dish when asked. Our food arrived within 15 minutes and we particularly enjoyed the sashimi, which was fresh and generously thick for the price (less than $30 for an assorted plate with 10+ pieces). A surprise star of our meal was the agedashi (deep-fried tofu) at $9.50 which was packed with umami and a palatable texture. We unfortunately would not recommend the shoyu ramen ($15) as the soup flavor was too light for our tastes with rather dry pork chashu lacking the oomph we expected and noodles that did not live up to the usual springiness of ramen. Fortunately, there are other dishes to enjoy, such as the takoyaki (octopus balls - $9.50) and rice bowls. We will be back to try out more rolls and other appetizers! I recommend visiting this place if you crave affordable, delicious Japanese food in a casual dine-in setting.
September 12 · JoyFood and service were good! Didn’t get photos of everything. Really good sushi. Reasonable pricing and decent portion sizes. Would recommend.
June 29 · Brittany D.This is the best unique and traditional 100% Japanese Food. Love the Miso Soup and Dragon Roll is the best ever. Jose is very good waiter and very welcoming atmosphere with cozy feeling to the place. Every time I come here I feel like I am back in Japan visiting. Will be coming back once again.
