I've been going to New Star (now Galaxy) for nine years so far. It's a cozy little restaurant, but it's more like going to your favorite aunt's house, everybody is so friendly. The breakfasts are wonderful: big fat pancakes, hash browns, eggs and omelettes any style, and delicious fresh-ground coffee. Not fancy, just regular wholesome cooked-to-order American diner food plus some Mexican specialties in a homey, relaxed atmosphere. I was afraid when it closed because of the virus that it would not come back, but now (as of May 28, 2020) it's open again for takeout/delivery only. Congratulations on beating the virus!------------Voy a New Star (Galaxy) ya durante nueve años. Un restaurante acogedor y pequeño, me parece más la casa de una tía favorita, todos son tan amigables. Desayunos maravillosos... panqueques grandes y gordos, papas caseras, huevos y tortillas de cualquier estilo, y el café más delicioso del barrio. Ofrece la comida de un "diner" típico norteamericano con unas especialidades mexicanas en un ambiente hogareño y relajado. Tuve miedo cuando cerró debido al virus que el local no volvería, pero a partir del 28 de mayo de 2020 está abierto nuevamente (por ahora, solo para llevar / entrega). ¡Felicitaciones por vencer al virus!

Its an alright diner (very small) good food. But the service is something else. The two ladies over the counter are always rushing you and the times I’ve gone they always mess up my order or if you dine in they take a while to service you or have you wait awhile for your food to come out because they are busy packing orders for take out.

Nice Staff , Fast Service ,Pretty Good Food. The Pastry is Usually fresh and the coffee is good and strong. They make a nice turkey bacon sandwich on very soft rolls. If you're on the move and need a quick bite..this place isn't bad.
