★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I had a wonderful experience at a Japanese restaurant Hōseki in a shopping mall Saks Fifth Avenue's while I was out shopping. The menu was set, and there was no option for a la carte, but that didn’t disappoint me at all. I was served what seemed like 8 or 10 small dishes, along with soup and crafted bites, and each dish was prepared right in front of me.The unique part was that new plate was made while I was still enjoying the previous one, so there was always something fresh to eat. Everything was incredibly delicious, and I even tried some types of fish that I had never tasted before. It was a delightful and flavorful experience that made my shopping trip even more enjoyable!
March 27 · AlinaGreat little hidden sushi spot by the jewelry section at Saks Fifth Avenue. Sushi was fresh and simply prepared which is the way I like it.
July 01 · Chris McMeenHad a great business lunch here. A perfect space for our group of 5. I think there were only 7 seats total. Amazing food and service. Was able to talk business while also enjoying the atmosphere. Great location, too. Great place to impress colleagues.
September 08 · Ethan SmithFantastic omakase! The price, the quantity and the timing of the meal makes it perfect spot for a quick lunch, but with michelin quality sushi.. The only slight downside I noticed was the soy sauce they used was a bit sweet for my liking. Otherwise, the fish and rice was perfect, and the size of each piece just right. Hope they will be able to do dinner seatings too.
July 13 · Terence FungAbsolutely stunning meal. 10/10s all around, probably the best sushi I’ve ever had. If you want to try new types of fish but not sure what definitely come here. While the restaurant is in Saks it’s incredibly quiet and private.
