Another highly recommended choice is the Chicken Shish Kebab, noted for its perfectly marinated, tender boneless chicken breast, grilled to juicy perfection. For those who prefer lamb, the Lamb Adana Kebab, which features ground lamb seasoned with red peppers and paprika, is a popular and flavorful choice. Hazar Turkish Kebab Reviews
The food here is absolutely delicious! We've been three times, and every visit has been worth it. Each time, we tried different dishes, and they were consistently excellent. The place is clean and well-organized, which adds to the enjoyable atmosphere. The highlight, though, is the amazing service—especially from our server, Osman, who truly made our experience memorable.
April 25 · Samar DjaalabI've been here a few times in the past 3 years and I went today with my mother for lunch, and I was not dissapointed. We both ordered the lentil soup and chicken adana special and it definitely hit the spot. The soup was delicious and the kebab was cooked well and it was juicy. I just wish that they would update the interior of the restaurant. It looks very outdated and even a little run down in my opinion. It doesn't help that they have competition in the neighborhood, such as Istanbul Bay on 80th Street and Ay Kebab on 86th Street. Both of them also have renovated interiors and serve food that is up to par with Hazar. But if I'm being honest, the employees at Ay Kebab acted like they didn't want to be there the last time I ate there. Speaking of employee attitudes there was a cashier/waiter at Hazar that was extremely friendly and courteous so they have that over Ay Kebab. I haven't been to Istanbul Bay in Bay Ridge in over three years but I remember the workers being friendly and their lamb and rice tasting great. Sorry for rambling so much but my point is you should definitely give Hazar a try, especially if you're craving turkish food on a budget.
November 07 · Prince AlwanHands down the best Turkish restaurant in Brooklyn in my opinion. I've been coming here for years and have never been disappointed and I understand the restaurant is under new ownership currently and the food was exactly how it always was. The mixed grill is perfect for my low carb diet and I left very satisfied.
July 24 · Dino PappasMy family and I love this spot, it's changed ownership recently, but the food is relatively the same. We get the "Mixed Grill" platters. Good Authentic food
June 08 · Alexx SmithNot much atmosphere but really good food. This is my go-to spot. If you get any sandwich or platter, make sure you get the homemade Turkish bread. The fried calamari is always light and tender. The pides are delicious.
