★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Half of the outside area was closed due to the cold weather. We were staying at the Hampton Inn on property and wanted to check it out. We stopped in for a drink and checked out the view which was nice. Typical rooftop lounge and nothing special to set it apart. Would have been great if there was heat outside.
February 23 · Jason GustoI used OpenTable to make a reservation at Interlude for our last night in our hotel. We were celebrating our anniversary and I asked in the notes if we could be seated with a view of the city. There were plenty of time slots available when I made my reservation. We waited for a very long time in the hotel lobby to get the elevator up to the roof--I think instructions on how to reach the restaurant would've been helpful, but I also noted when preparing for our visit that Interlude's social media and menus hadn't been updated since the end of December 2024. That, coupled with some not-great reviews and high prices for drinks/snacks, made me a little leery, but we went ahead and kept our reservations. When we arrived, we were seated on an outdoor couch with a low coffee table in front of us. It wasn't comfortable and we couldn't see the city lights very well, so we asked to be moved to one of the vacant high-top tables. Our server was kind but it seemed to take a while for him to get an answer. We were finally moved to a high-top table and the view was wonderful. Our drinks came and then the fire alarm went off. It was loud with bright, flashing lights. The noise ended fairly quickly, but the manager never came and checked in with people to tell us if we needed to leave on the one elevator down. The safety lights kept flashing the entire time we were there. Because I'm photosensitive and prone to migraines, I was uncomfortable. We asked for our check, paid for our drinks, and left. We went down the street to Connolly's for dinner. We eat out frequently and this is the worst experience we've had in years and years. I wish I could recommend Interlude, but I simply can't.
July 10 · Jolene GutierrezFabulous! Luxury in the middle of the beautiful chaos that is Times Square. I felt like I was in an oasis. The glow of the moon, the views of midtown, the drinks and service and the exclusivity on the balcony nooks! Yes yes yes! What a sudden jam. We will be returning again and again and again.
June 09 · Telltale ToursSo disappointing, after a long day of sight seeing, thought a drink on the rooftop in the hotel we are staying in would be great. The opposite. Going up in the rooftop elevator the hostess was rude even after trying to be friendly. Then arrived on rooftop and walked through to table and sat down, no one showed us or told us differently. Eventually after clearing up our unannounced arrival, the waitress/ hostess rudely came over wiped the table ensuring the bits landed on my lap… sorry not good enough, she clearly did not want to serve us. There are many bars / rooftop lounges that welcome guests. So we left, couldn’t risk further 3rd grade treatment. Just rude!!!
July 29 · Michelle SmitAmazing rooftop bar attached to the Hilton Home2 Suites! Nice laid back, intimate atmosphere. I want to give a shout-out to Samuel, the GM. He greeted us and had amazing knowledge of the menu. Advised us on drinks and the recommendations were great. He was professional, kind, and attentive! They had blankets available if we were cold, nice vibe to the lounge! Hard to find a place in NYC that isn’t too loud and this place was definitely our vibe!Samuel’s we cannot wait to come back next time we visit NYC! Keep up the great work ☺️
