Every dish is packed with authentic flavors and presented beautifully. The balance of taste, quality, and quantity makes it completely worth every penny. The staff is friendly, the service is quick, and the overall dining experience is fantastic. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a place where great taste meets great value!10/10
September 01 · Manjeet KaurJaz Indian is hands down one of the best Indian restaurants in NYC. Just a short walk from Times Square and the Theater District, it’s the perfect spot for a pre-or post-Broadway meal. We happened upon it by chance, and it turned out to be the highlight of our trip to New York. The restaurant is owned and run by Jaz and her family, and their warmth shows in every detail. The menu focuses on authentic British curry house favorites, cooked to perfection. I was even treated to an off-menu green curry — without question the best curry I’ve ever had in New York City.Service here is outstanding. The staff went above and beyond for a birthday celebration happening the same night, making the evening feel personal and special for everyone in the room.If you’re searching for authentic Indian food near Broadway, Times Square, or Midtown Manhattan, Jaz Indian is a must-visit. Incredible food, welcoming service, and true hospitality, this hidden gem deserves to be on every NYC food lover’s list.
September 18 · christopher warrenFood wasn’t that good and was overpriced didn’t taste Indian at all no spices no nothing it was bland to be frank if you’re looking for Indian food this restaurant isn’t it doesn’t seem authentic at all. Service was pretty good she recommended us what to order. Atmosphere is a bit too small. Maybe the food used to be good but it’s not anymore.
September 08 · New YorkerWe are visiting from out of state and were recommended this place by a local. 10/10! I have had a lot of Indian food, and this was truly the best butter chicken I’ve ever had! The owner, Jaz, is phenomenal. We spent the last half hour with her just chatting and hearing about her restaurant. Her mission is to make it feel like you are in her kitchen, and it truly felt that way!We ordered the lemon rice, garlic naan (amazing!), butter chicken, and chicken vindaloo. We wrapped it up with some kulfi ice cream and gulab jamun at Jaz’s suggestion, and I’m so glad we did!
August 25 · Emily StrauchWelcoming Indian restaurant in Hell’s Kitchen. Was craving Indian and looking for a quick vegan lunch. I popped in the inquire about their lunch specials and the owner introduced herself to me. Am extremely friendly, accommodating, and efficient woman Jaz showed me my options and even offered to make me a vegan Chana saag (not on the menu) and sub roti for the naan which came with the special. The vegetarian lunch box was only $13.95 and was more than enough food. I got Aloo Gobi, Chana Saag, basmati rice, and a whole wheat roti and couldn’t finish it all. The cauliflower was nice and firm (not overcooked like many places execute it) and the Chana saag quite tasty. I’m looking forward to returning and trying other dishes! The owner took personal care of me and ensured that nothing would dairy or egg, and my food came so quickly I had plenty of time to eat my meal during my lunch hour.
