Jonathan's is a NHP staple and for good reason. If you go on any weeknight, you are liable to notice that the crowd veers older and that the tables are rarely empty. Our elders know best where to find good value for money, and Jonathan's is a great example of this principle. Huge portions of gloriously indulgent food. Pasta and fish are the heart of the menu, like most LI restaurants. I would call this casual elegant, but don't feel pressured to dress up, most people don't. Good variety on the menu as well. The Lobster specials on Wednesdays and Fridays seem very popular. Great ambience, even if the decor is a little dated, it is well-kept and extremely clean. The servers are excellent and pay close attention to detail. My parents love this place because they have a dedicated allergen free kitchen for gluten intolerance. What a thoughtful and smart business decision. Perfect for a date night with your loved one, a place to take your mom to dinner or a birthday.

My friends and I dined here tonight for restaurant week. Food and service were absolutely excellent.We ordered:Appetizers: baked clams, salmon cake and calamariMain: shrimp risotto, chicken marsala risotto, strip steak & short ribsFor desserts, all of us ordered waffle sundaes.The bread and corn bread served at the beginning of our dinner were fresh and delicious.

I recently hosted a delightful Baby Shower for my daughter at Jonathan's.in Garden City. The room was lovely, the food delectable, and the service impeccable! Charlene was so gracious even before the big day. She was always charming and availble to anwer every question.Dean, the manager, went above and beyond to make the day truly beautiful. And of course, our amazing waiters, Misael and Alex, were so attentive to every guest. Misael even made some on the spot suggestions that I truly appreciated. We are all so pleased and grateful to everyone at Jonathan's for making this special day so unforgettable!I would have written this even more quickly, but our guests kept calling to tell us how much they enjoyed the party and how delicious the food was!Thanks to everyone!
