Kith Treats Introduce
In the vibrant and trendy landscape of downtown New York City, Kith Treats stands out as a unique and innovative destination for dessert lovers. Located within the Kith flagship store in the stylish NoHo neighborhood, this isn't your average ice cream shop. It's a creative space that expertly fuses childhood nostalgia with a high-end, modern sensibility. The concept is simple yet brilliant: taking your favorite breakfast cereals and blending them with a creamy ice cream base to create a confection that is both familiar and entirely new. The moment you walk in, the aroma of sweet cereal and creamy ice cream transports you back to Saturday mornings, but the sleek, contemporary design of the space reminds you that this is an elevated experience. Kith Treats is celebrated for its inventive menu, which includes collaborations with celebrities and prominent figures from the worlds of fashion, sports, and art. This infusion of pop culture and culinary creativity makes every visit feel like a special event. The atmosphere is undeniably cool and casual, reflecting the streetwear heritage of the Kith brand. While it is a part of the larger retail store, the ice cream shop has its own distinct identity, making it a destination in its own right for a quick and unforgettable treat.
Kith Treats is situated at 337 Lafayette Street, a prime location in the heart of the NoHo neighborhood. This area is known for its high-end boutiques, trendy cafes, and overall creative energy, making it a fitting home for a concept as unique as Kith Treats. The shop's location makes it easily accessible for anyone exploring downtown Manhattan. It's just a short walk from several major subway stations, providing a convenient option for those relying on public transportation. For locals and tourists alike, its proximity to other popular destinations in SoHo and Greenwich Village means you can easily stop by for a treat while shopping or sightseeing. A recent renovation has made the ice cream shop more accessible, moving it to street level, which is a significant improvement for customers. This new layout ensures a smoother and more direct experience, whether you're coming in specifically for ice cream or just passing by. While street parking in this busy part of the city can be challenging, the location is best enjoyed by foot, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the lively urban environment. The combination of its central location and improved accessibility makes Kith Treats a convenient and appealing stop for a delicious dessert.
Kith Treats focuses on providing a streamlined and efficient service model, catering to customers who want a quick, high-quality dessert experience without the long wait times. Their service options are designed for flexibility and convenience, whether you're in the neighborhood or at home.
- Takeout: This is the primary service model. Customers order their treats at the counter and receive them quickly, perfect for enjoying on the go.
- Delivery: Kith Treats partners with delivery services, allowing customers to enjoy their unique ice cream creations from the comfort of their own homes.
The business model is primarily focused on serving delicious, high-quality confections for takeout. There is no traditional dine-in seating, which is a common setup for fast-service dessert shops in New York. While this may be a change for some, it reinforces the concept of a modern, fast-paced treat. The experience is all about the ice cream itself, from its creative concoction to its photo-worthy presentation. A note on service, as highlighted by a customer review, is that it is important to pay attention to your order and to ask for any necessary items like spoons and napkins, as they may not be automatically provided. This aspect of the service experience, while a potential point of frustration, is part of a non-traditional, counter-service model that emphasizes speed and efficiency. Despite this, the quality and taste of the products themselves remain the main attraction, drawing customers in for a unique treat that's easy to grab and go.
Kith Treats stands out from other dessert shops in New York City with a number of unique features and highlights that are central to its brand identity.
- Creative and Nostalgic Concept: The core highlight is the fusion of classic breakfast cereals with creamy ice cream. This concept provides a strong sense of nostalgia while delivering a new and exciting flavor profile. The texture, crunch, and creamy base work together in "perfect harmony."
- Celebrity Collaborations (Signature Specials): The menu is famously curated with "Signature Specials" designed by a rotating list of celebrity collaborators, including athletes, artists, and designers. This feature adds an exclusive, limited-edition feel to the menu and draws in fans of both the brand and the featured personalities. Examples include "The King's Treat By LeBron James" and "The Flat White By Virgil Abloh."
- Innovative and Unique Flavors: Kith Treats is known for its creativity, constantly introducing new and unique flavors. A recent example is the "Movie Night" flavor, which ingeniously blended vanilla ice cream with buttered popcorn, M&M's, and salted pretzels. This commitment to fresh ideas keeps the menu exciting and encourages repeat visits.
- Photo-Worthy Presentation: The presentation of the ice cream is a key part of the experience. The creations are designed to be visually appealing and "photo-worthy," which contributes to the shop's popularity on social media.
- Build Your Own Option: In addition to the pre-designed "Signature Specials," customers have the option to "Build Your Own" ice cream swirl or milkshake, choosing their favorite cereals and mix-ins to create a personalized treat.
These highlights collectively make Kith Treats a destination rather than just a quick stop. The brand’s connection to high-end fashion and streetwear also adds a layer of exclusivity and trendiness that appeals to a specific, style-conscious crowd. The combination of nostalgia, celebrity culture, and culinary innovation makes Kith Treats a one-of-a-kind dessert experience that is well-known and highly regarded in the city.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1If you’re looking for a dessert spot that hits hard with nostalgia and creativity, Kith Treats is the place. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted by that sweet cereal-meets-ice-cream aroma that instantly takes you back to childhood—but with a seriously elevated twist.I tried one of their signature cereal-infused ice cream combos, and wow… the texture, the crunch, and the creamy base all work in perfect harmony. Every bite felt like a throwback, but with a modern, bold edge. Their rotating flavors and limited-time collabs keep things fresh, and the presentation is always photo-worthy.Whether you’re a cereal lover or just craving something unique, Kith Treats is definitely Helwa Approved.
May 21 · Benjamin Helwa⭐ 1 Star – For the service.I came today to try their new ice cream flavor that just launched — a nostalgic movie-theater themed creation called The Movie Night: Vanilla ice cream infused with buttered popcorn, mini M&M’s, and salted pretzels, topped with buttered popcorn and Maldon salt.To my surprise, all the ingredients actually worked really well together — it tasted amazing and I highly recommend it. It’s like eating popcorn in ice cream form — fun, unique, and perfect for summer. Also, I noticed that Kith recently renovated and moved the ice cream shop downstairs to street level, which makes it more accessible than before when you had to go up to the second floor. However, I had a strange and disappointing experience today. I was taking a video to review the shop and capture the vibe and the making process — something I’ve done at many other ice cream places before. But one of the female staff members (you can see her in the video) told me filming wasn’t allowed. If there was a clear sign or a policy posted somewhere, I would’ve understood — but I didn’t see any. So I just recorded as usual. Then, when my order was ready, the same staff member handed me the ice cream and immediately closed the service window — without giving me a spoon or a napkin. Previously, when the shop was still upstairs, they placed those items in front of the counter for customers to grab. Now, they’re kept behind the window. I had to knock and ask, “Where’s the spoon and napkin?” because — seriously — how am I supposed to eat it without them?Even another customer waiting beside me laughed and said, “So are you supposed to eat it with your hands?” Honestly, the service was terrible. I never expected this kind of treatment from a place I used to come to regularly. If the store manager reads this, please do something about it. It was such a disappointing experience — and I won’t be returning if this is how customers continue to be treated.
June 29 · Nitiphum S.The staff here is so genuinely friendly and helpful and the soft serve with cereal is really good—good to eat, not just a gimmick that’s good to photograph.
June 21 · G CTLDR: The revamped KITH store in SoHo now has Treats on the ground floor which means you don't need to take the stairs or elevator for some cold sweet goodness. Wifey is our tried/true order.I recently got to visit during the ten-year anniversary menu. Treats is now located on the ground floor with curb walk-up service. No more places to stand but it's much easier to get to.We grabbed The Flirt off the anniversary menu. Basically it's a Wifey with strawberries and gold flakes. Very tasty though.
September 04 · Patrick WongI honestly come here like once a week. It’s my favorite type of ice cream. Mix in as many cereals as you want.Once you get ice cream you won’t be able to walk the store to protect the clothing, so make sure to plan accordingly. But don’t worry the ice cream is a little slice of heaven.
