---## What Is Worth Choosing?
The question of what to choose at Kung Fu Kitchen is a delightful one, as the menu is packed with fantastic options. However, certain dishes stand out and are highly recommended for a truly authentic experience. First and foremost, you absolutely must try the handmade dumplings and the soup dumplings. The Steamed Pork Dumplings and the Pan Fried Shrimp & Pork Dumplings are popular choices, known for their perfect texture and savory fillings. The Pork Soup Dumpling, filled with a rich, flavorful broth, is a true signature item that captures the essence of this traditional dish.
Another must-try category is the hand-cut "Dao Xiao" noodles. Unlike typical noodles, these are expertly sliced by hand, resulting in a unique texture that is both chewy and satisfying. The House Special Stir-Fry Handcut Noodles or the Beef Handcut Noodle with Soup are excellent ways to experience this specialty. If you enjoy a bit of spice, the Spicy Dry Pot dishes, featuring ingredients like Angus Fatty Beef or Shrimp, offer a bold and delicious kick.
Beyond the main dishes, don't miss the dim sum. The Shanghai Pan-Fried Pork Buns and the Sticky Rice Shao Mai are particularly popular and are perfect for sharing or as a starter. The menu also offers a wide array of stir-fried dishes, ramens, and cold appetizers, so there’s always something new to discover on each visit. And of course, be sure to pair your meal with one of their great teas, such as a refreshing Jasmine Green Tea or a creamy Black Milk Tea. ★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1The food was so delicious! Our group happened to come across this hidden gem after exploring Times Square. Our server was very friendly and accommodating (even let me charge my phone while we dined). The place was not too busy, and our food came out fast. The noodles tasted fresh and very flavorful. Highly recommend!
July 16 · Jonathan HernandezMy son and I loved this place!!! What a gem! Great food and the service was exceptional. Great location as well! The portions will definitely make you feel full. The staff were super polite, friendly and the service was very quick!! Would go again and again anytime I’m back in NYC!
August 07 · Jodi Ann McfarlaneThe best Pan fried pork buns ever ( finished them too quickly didn’t have time taking photos)! I’m Chinese and my family are British we all enjoyed everything we ordered here particularly the pan fried buns! Boys loved the bubble tea and Brown sugar milk! I actually came to the restaurant 2 years ago and enjoyed the food, so this time I took my family here and they kept wanting to go back - went 3 times in one week!
July 29 · Ax HThis was close to our hotel so we thought we would give it a go. It’s a no for us. Service was slow and not overly friendly. Restaurant shows its age and could use a good refresh. Front window is broken with a sign saying don’t touch. The appetizers were good, pan friend dumplings and scallion pancakes. The main dishes were very bland. Noodles were super chewy. There are better choices not far away.
January 26 · Lorri DanaIf you speak Chinese, you get even better service. The food was excellent. Unlike any I have had before. Combinations of hot and sweet, crispy fresh and softened or fried. Just delicious. Cannot wait to return.
