Kyuramen - Forest Hills Introduce
Kyuramen Forest Hills has quickly become a standout destination for Japanese cuisine lovers in Queens, New York. More than just a place to grab a quick meal, this ramen restaurant offers a truly unique and engaging dining experience that sets it apart from other spots in the city. Located right in the bustling heart of Forest Hills, Kyuramen successfully blends authentic, expertly crafted ramen dishes with a notably modern and private atmosphere.
The founder of Kyuramen dedicated time to studying the essence of Japanese ramen, repeatedly visiting Japan to taste different regional flavors. This deep dive resulted in a menu that celebrates the different styles, offering soup bases that are described as "white," "thick," "fresh," and "fragrant." The vision was to create a place where the general working class and student population could enjoy authentic, stress-free ramen, and the Forest Hills location embodies that mission perfectly.
Whether you’re a lifelong New Yorker, a local Forest Hills resident, or just visiting the area, Kyuramen provides a vibrant, cozy, and trendy atmosphere. It’s an ideal spot for a comforting lunch, an intimate date night, or a casual dinner with friends or family. The service is often highlighted by patrons as exceptionally quick, which is a significant bonus for anyone grabbing a bite during a busy day.

## Features / Highlights
The Kyuramen experience goes beyond just the food, offering several distinct highlights that contribute to its popularity and unique position in the NYC dining scene:
- Unique Honeycomb Seating Pods: The most notable feature is the interior design, which includes signature honeycomb seating arrangements and private wooden dining pods or cubicles. Some of these booths are even elevated, accessible by stairs, providing an intimate, almost romantic, and completely unique sense of privacy while you dine.
- Call Button for Service: Each private booth and table is equipped with a dedicated "call" button, allowing diners to summon their server without having to flag down staff. This feature is often praised for enhancing the overall dining experience and ensuring prompt service when needed.
- Authentic, Master-Developed Broths: The ramen menu features soup bases carefully developed by ramen masters, reflecting the essence of classic Japanese styles like Kyushu Shio, Tokyo Shouyu, and Hokkaido Miso (represented by various Tonkotsu and Miso ramen dishes).
- Diverse Menu Beyond Ramen: While ramen is the star, the menu extends to unique items like Kyuburgers (Japanese-style rice burgers), Omurice (Japanese omelet rice), and a wide variety of Japanese appetizers and grilled skewers (kushiyaki).
- Asian-Owned Business: Kyuramen proudly identifies as an Asian-owned establishment, contributing to the rich diversity of small businesses in the Queens community.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Very quick service with our food & taste was amazing! Presentation was cute !Thai ice tea was good!Set up is nice!We had to call the server to place our orderWe had to ask for plates when our appetizer cameI’d say when two people are eating you serve them together, but my friend got her soup before I did.Pepper condiments looks crustyWe had to call again few times after they didn’t quite check on us.Feel like they need a female waitress to get things moving; I’d just say things tend to be different. No soap in toilet. Needs detailed cleaning.
August 22 · Ashley LochanLove this spot! The ramen is delicious, the service is super quick, and I love the unique seating inside. You get a nice sense of privacy in the elevated seating, which is nice for a date night. Also, I’m a huge fan of the “call” button at each table, so you don’t have to flag down people when you need something. Glad this opened in Forest Hills!
August 08 · Tom KmiecikNot only did the food come incredibly quick, but it was all full of flavor and i loved everything I had. Yes it can get pricy, especially since I ate with 2 people besides me, but we all loved it and it was worth it. The atmosphere is great as well and it was very lively inside.
June 15 · Elani !Okay, so i have been wanting to go here for the longest. A friend chose this, and I was super happy. It was worth the wait.We got the popcorn chicken, bao bun(for her), she got the rice burger with beef... i got the fried chicken rice burger. So definitely and kind of messy, but I didn't mind haha. Also the purple sweet potato fries....top tier!! And the lemonade was delicious. Will be back whenever I'm in that part of Queens.
April 05 · Linsey mackeyRamen was tasty, the spice container was empty, and it was a little cold inside. The chicken popcorn was served without basil but it was not bad.I will go again
